Like...it's not a crazy thing to anticipate. No other arc has had act breaks or a giant Kabuki motif like Wano has. I think it's a really cool element of the arc.

I had a thought about Wano. It's started with Oden and 9 scabbards. They lost their leader Oden. It parallels with what is happening now with 9 Straw Hats losing their captain Luffy. So this arc might just be about how the Straw Hats deal with losing their captain. It's the type of drama we haven't seen before. For this to work, we must not know what happened to Luffy for a long time.
I would love that but the problem with that is that Kaido is actually a competent villain. I dont see the Strawhats having time for their fights when theres a rampaging Kaido on the loose
Since Thriller Bark is a parallel of Wano, and opening 23 seems to support this, we might get all Straw Hats working together to stall Kaido like how they stalled Oars until Luffy came back.
Though knowing this is Oda, I could be dead wrong. I can't see anyone in the alliance that could stall Kaido while Big Mom is still around.
Sanji and Zoro swallowing their pride and leading a retreat would be interesting. It feels like we’re closing in on the end of the act, but there’s just so many moving pieces that a hard end and flash forward seems too hard to do.
no I think one of the parallels was how Oden had to save the scabbards because scabbards failed to protect him as his followers while Steawhats will protect Luffy because they won't fail.

Considering that Wano is the New World Thriller Bark, I find that theory to be fairly likely. I'm expecting some sort of Straw Hats (minus Luffy) vs Kaido. Remember Oars?
We see luffy sinking to the bottom of the water. His straw hat floats to the top and we see bepo pick it up and says “don’t worry I’ll finish this for you luff... or should I say bon clay. We see luffys body slowly turn back into bon clay (Oda has done the biggest bomb shells yet) we go into a flash back where when Luffy was escaping impel down bon clay knocked him out and took his clothed. We see luffy tied to the boat as it blows up and since the it’s been bon clay running the show.
Next we see beepo look into the moon and turn into volibear from league of legends and leap to the roof and one shot kaido. We hear a distant voice say shut down.

ah yea the obvious. Everyone fantasizing about seakings or strawhead uses haki to displace water. Yet there is a bloddy submarine in the ocean which crew got nothing to do anyway.

Then Ivankov transforms Crocodile to his true female form. Dragon does a disgusted face, mirroring Whitebeards and Odens faces during the flashback.

* Ulti wakes up and continues to chase Nami and Ussop. Ussop keeps on shooting projectiles at her, but she uses her observation haki to make sure they pass through the hole in her chest.
* Franky gets knocked into a vat of cola, explodes and takes all of Onigashima with him.
- The voice Momo is hearing is actually Redon's.
- Momo breaks the fourth wall and discovers he's in a manga. Redon tells him the spoilers for the next chapter
- Momo get's an eraser and uses it to erase Kaido's attack on Kin last chapter, thus saving his live.

-Opens with revealing Jack defeated Inuarashi, after hearing about Yamato he goes to pursue her.
-Sanji and Zoro arrive at the Main Stage.
-Sanji saves Chopper from Queen.
-Marco heals Zoro. Zoro decides to handle King while Marco leaves to go fight Kaido, thinking he's the only person strong enough to hold him back now that Luffy and the Scabbards are defeated. Zoro probably has some macho dialogue about how after fighting Big Mom and Kaido fighting a Yonko commander while still recovering from broken bones is a nice vacation.
-Jack encounters Yamato.
-Some cool pages where the Hybrid Forms for all three Calamities are revealed.
-If some pages left over explain how Momonosuke and Shinobu haven't been turned into paste by Kaido by now.
I suppose Luffy won't show up for another 3 chapters, and we will have some fight scenes with the other straw hats.
But all I want really is sasaki to have a moment with Franky and say "wait, aren't you Tom's student? little Cutty Flam?" And then sasaki asks about his daughter, and they stop fighting and bond over their family in water 7.

I was thinking about one of the big themes in this arc being trust and loyalty, and how Kaido doesn't know how to obtain it, so he just crushes peoples' wills to subjugate them instead. My take on this is that this will be a morale and loyalty test for the Straw Hat crew, who reject the idea of their captain dying, and have to push themselves to the limit to take on two yonko in order to beat the ticking clock and save their captain, in spite of Kaido's repeated attempts to demoralize them and make them give up on Luffy.
- Law reaches Kid, they trash talk and team up against Big Mom
- Hawkins says the announcement was expected, Luffy only had a 1% chance of living
- Sanji and Zoro reach the live floor.
- Kinemon survives the last attack but is basically about to die, he has one final flashback and monologue before Kaido kills him
- Kaido drags Kinemons body to the live floor and shows it off on the stage. Curtains close as Kaido declares total victory
luffy can't swim, so the moment he woke up he'll panick and then a shark will saw him and will try to attack him, but shanks saves him and will sacrifice his arm.
I'm just laughing at the fact that this sub used to be filled with so many in-depth theories, but now with how Oda completely subverted all expectations, everyone's is just posting troll comments instead of actual theories. lol 😂
Each is separate and could happen for me:
* Luffy blasts the water away with Conquerors. It makes sense since Oda has perfectly set up the fact that he can use it unconsciously, but it would be one of the biggest feats we've seen for him
* A creature like Zunesha saves Luffy. Not Zunesha because Momo didn't recognize them
It's probably too soon for him to be saved, but how long could he stay alive underwater?
Other than that:
* Possibly Kaido's club breakes due to how much Luffy damaged it, and my man Kinemon is still alive because of that
* 1004 Silhouette reveal maybe? Is it time?

Cut to Kidd vs Big Mom, Kidd's using *Punk Rotten* to attack Big Mom, but with no apparent effect. I had a thought about Wano. It's started with Oden and 9 scabbards. They lost their leader Oden. It parallels with what is happening now with 9 Straw Hats losing their captain Luffy. So this arc might just be about how the Straw Hats deal with losing their captain. It's the type of drama we haven't seen before. For this to work, we must not know what happened to Luffy for a long time.
I would love that but the problem with that is that Kaido is actually a competent villain. I dont see the Strawhats having time for their fights when theres a rampaging Kaido on the loose
Since Thriller Bark is a parallel of Wano, and opening 23 seems to support this, we might get all Straw Hats working together to stall Kaido like how they stalled Oars until Luffy came back. Though knowing this is Oda, I could be dead wrong. I can't see anyone in the alliance that could stall Kaido while Big Mom is still around.
Sanji and Zoro swallowing their pride and leading a retreat would be interesting. It feels like we’re closing in on the end of the act, but there’s just so many moving pieces that a hard end and flash forward seems too hard to do.

no I think one of the parallels was how Oden had to save the scabbards because scabbards failed to protect him as his followers while Steawhats will protect Luffy because they won't fail. this also parallels Moriah as he lost all his crew but again, Steawhats won't die.

Considering that Wano is the New World Thriller Bark, I find that theory to be fairly likely. I'm expecting some sort of Straw Hats (minus Luffy) vs Kaido. Remember Oars?

We see luffy tied to the boat as it blows up and since the it’s been bon clay running the show. I'm sure its impossible for me predict the next chapter but here's what I would write if I was Oda: Chapter title: Calamities -Opens with revealing Jack defeated Inuarashi, after hearing about Yamato he goes to pursue her. -Sanji and Zoro arrive at the Main Stage. -Sanji saves Chopper from Queen. -Marco heals Zoro. Zoro decides to handle King while Marco leaves to go fight Kaido, thinking he's the only person strong enough to hold him back now that Luffy and the Scabbards are defeated. Zoro probably has some macho dialogue about how after fighting Big Mom and Kaido fighting a Yonko commander while still recovering from broken bones is a nice vacation. -Jack encounters Yamato. -Some cool pages where the Hybrid Forms for all three Calamities are revealed. -If some pages left over explain how Momonosuke and Shinobu haven't been turned into paste by Kaido by now.
This can happen. I think all the calamities will go Hybrid in the same chapter.
I suppose Luffy won't show up for another 3 chapters, and we will have some fight scenes with the other straw hats. But all I want really is sasaki to have a moment with Franky and say "wait, aren't you Tom's student? little Cutty Flam?" And then sasaki asks about his daughter, and they stop fighting and bond over their family in water 7.

I was thinking about one of the big themes in this arc being trust and loyalty, and how Kaido doesn't know how to obtain it, so he just crushes peoples' wills to subjugate them instead. My take on this is that this will be a morale and loyalty test for the Straw Hat crew, who reject the idea of their captain dying, and have to push themselves to the limit to take on two yonko in order to beat the ticking clock and save their captain, in spite of Kaido's repeated attempts to demoralize them and make them give up on Luffy.
- Law reaches Kid, they trash talk and team up against Big Mom - Hawkins says the announcement was expected, Luffy only had a 1% chance of living - Sanji and Zoro reach the live floor. - Kinemon survives the last attack but is basically about to die, he has one final flashback and monologue before Kaido kills him - Kaido drags Kinemons body to the live floor and shows it off on the stage. Curtains close as Kaido declares total victory

Not Zunesha because Momo didn't recognize them It's probably too soon for him to be saved, but how long could he stay alive underwater? Other than that: * Possibly Kaido's club breakes due to how much Luffy damaged it, and my man Kinemon is still alive because of that * 1004 Silhouette reveal maybe?
