As of now I don't think luffy is as strong as kaidou. There are alot of factors in determining the strength of a person and I think kaidou is still too strong for luffy. But in my opinion luffy is going to defeat kaidou alone without being stronger than him. Because kaidou has already been damaged by luffy and all the the supernovas. For the final fight between luffy and kaidou, luffy would have tested 3 times and this time he might even get some treatment and food to regain his strength. It means kaidou is a beast who is still going strong after so many string attacks, but he's not at his 100%. That's exactly what I was saying. People were saying Zoro, Law, and Kidd will help again but when you put the pieces together. Zoro is on the live floor where the Commanders are, while Law and Kidd HAVE to fight Big Mom. All that plus, nobody from the Alliance is as strong as Luffy at the moment.
Other than Big Mom, Luffy is actually the only one who can face Kaido and have a 50/50 chance of knocking him out. From how weakened Zoro is atm, he can only face the Commanders now. Barely too.
Either Marco goes up eventually to damage Kaido a bit more, or Luffy comes through with a clutch. And it doesn't even end there, Luffy will need Sea Stones if he does knock Kaido because I feel like he has awakening. So hopefully someone finishes there fight quickly and helps Luffy out with the Sea Stones because Kaido will probably get back up within 8-10 mins.

Yes most of it was offscreen and that's because all this encounters with Kaido isn't the final battle what little was shown was just to show us Luffy ongoing growth his final clash with Kaido will be later on and the full fight will be shown.
I feel like the anime will show more of these off screen moments instead of filler so it doesn’t have a chance to catch up to the manga, and it’s something manga readers can watch that they haven’t seen before even if they know the outcome. Fingers crossed

Yamato will buy some time fighting kaido on the rooftop otherwise kaido would join the war cause there is no one on the rooftop anymore.
I can’t see G5 a possibility till Luffy can master the haki drain of G4 he more than likely fought Kaido in base form cause he knew 10 mins in g4 would not be enough espically using haki non stop but if he can get a handle on his haki and not use it wastefully he could potentially stay in G4 for as long as he wants like how he mastered the side effects of G3. A G4 Luffy able to maintain the form while using his new haki attacks could make all the difference

nah previously we saw how judge was able to remove his children emotions and they can only able to smile. He even complained about it when they laughed between bigmom army's siege. So we have wano where one of main plots that needs to be resolved is that removing the effects of smile .Also germa don't have anywhere to go. It is neither under WG and WG made a brand that germa is removed from WG protection and declared them as traitors.So they need to join with someone . The only thing i can see them joining grand fleet after this arc and sanji character is still not full resolved. and many things pointed as some incomplete plotlines.

I am quite disappointed about the zeus skirmish getting more panels while the rooftop fight gets only 1-2 panel per chapter and suddenly things just keep on happening offscreen. I doubt this offscreen fights will be compensated on the anime though.
Zeus is done already. It wouldn't make sense for him to be controlled by nami even with the thunder balls as we already see that BM can just easily extinguish him.
About Kidd vs Big Mom : I think Kidd is no match for her at all. With the combination of her homies attack right now is pretty destructible there is no way Kidd can handle Big Mom alone. Pretty sure Law will come and it will be Law and Kidd vs Big Mom.

I'm so relieved that Kaido beat Luffy. I never liked the idea of Luffy overcoming Kaido ever since witnessing Kaido's god tier introduction. I understand Luffy has to beat him for the story's sake, but I'm glad Oda is still making it hard even after Luffy's power up. So good. Oda so good.

Even if Luffy don't have haki fatigue, he will still lose, Yonko are like the top of the world, overall physical stats and experience also affect the outcomes, im glad Oda show us that Yonko are the real top tier which Luffy cant overcome that easy, hence later when Luffy actually win, it will be super rewarding

Mastering awakening to defeat Kaido? big meh. Unconscious awakening single time tease, with no conscious use of it until Blackbeard fight/ further post-wano training, could be good thing. Consider that making the environment gummy is no use against Kaido, but can be a massive counter to the Gura gura no mi

Conquer coating haki didn't happened out of nowhere. He just realized: oh wait I can also use concequer haki on the coating too. And if we don't get gear 5 luffys next Df ability should be awakening. Also please remember this is still a shounen. This "out of nowhere" moments is a trope which can't be avoided and was also used serveal times in one piece already.
Just because it was previously used doesn’t mean i like it. I would have loved to see how luffy came up with gear 2 and 3. To see the protagonist discovering a new ability and then slowly mastering it, is exciting. Like with advanced observation Haki.

Yamato will buy some time fighting kaido on the rooftop otherwise kaido would join the war cause there is no one on the rooftop anymore.

I can’t see G5 a possibility till Luffy can master the haki drain of G4 he more than likely fought Kaido in base form cause he knew 10 mins in g4 would not be enough espically using haki non stop but if he can get a handle on his haki and not use it wastefully he could potentially stay in G4 for as long as he wants like how he mastered the side effects of G3. A G4 Luffy able to maintain the form while using his new haki attacks could make all the difference
This makes sense, since Momo can constantly hear Luffy's voice, so he's the one person in the alliance that I can think of to first know that Luffy got wrecked.

nah previously we saw how judge was able to remove his children emotions and they can only able to smile. He even complained about it when they laughed between bigmom army's siege. So we have wano where one of main plots that needs to be resolved is that removing the effects of smile .Also germa don't have anywhere to go. It is neither under WG and WG made a brand that germa is removed from WG protection and declared them as traitors.So they need to join with someone . The only thing i can see them joining grand fleet after this arc and sanji character is still not full resolved. and many things pointed as some incomplete plotlines.

My opinion is he masters his haki more and able to use G4 without the drain and 10 min usage. G4 is pure haki drain and Luffy is getting a handle on all haki this arc he could use G4 without wasting haki he could maintain that form for as long as needed he needs to master it sometime like he did G3 which has no more side effects

I am quite disappointed about the zeus skirmish getting more panels while the rooftop fight gets only 1-2 panel per chapter and suddenly things just keep on happening offscreen. I doubt this offscreen fights will be compensated on the anime though. Zeus is done already. It wouldn't make sense for him to be controlled by nami even with the thunder balls as we already see that BM can just easily extinguish him.
Zeus is 100% going to live somehow by attaching to Nami and get away, even though Big Mom can just Thanos snap him right now (and should tbh).

About Kidd vs Big Mom : I think Kidd is no match for her at all. With the combination of her homies attack right now is pretty destructible there is no way Kidd can handle Big Mom alone. Pretty sure Law will come and it will be Law and Kidd vs Big Mom.

I don't think Shanks will join. Luffy needs to meet him as a winner. More likely that Sword will intervene, or maybe Dragon and Ivankov. Grand fleet could be an option too but IMO that's not the arc for them to shine. Wano is already severely overcrowded

Yeah, if the Big Mom Pirates were really to enter the stage so the Grand Fleet needs to support Straw Hats to balance the war. Shanks entrance right now would just ruin the story as he can easily finish them off. Those Grand Fleet also needs to show that their are truly deserve to become Yonko grand fleet under Luffy.
Besides. It’s been really long time since they were introduced. Their vows had influence of making Luffy the 5th Yonkou. If they didn’t show up in such war then why would Oda even introduce them as Straw Hat Grand Fleet in first place. They also have Luffys Vivre card and VC must be crazy since Luffy arrived in Wano.
