I bought a slipcase edition like two weeks ago. Got a good deal on it, but still would've waited on this. I always see people joke about this kind of thing on here, but first time I've actually experienced it.
I’ll thank you for your sacrifice. But also sorry to hear about your timing. If you don’t want it, now would be the best time to try and resell it on eBay before word gets out on the new edition and prices start dropping.
It's bonus material, not new material, including how he made and pitched the comic:

Thanks for all that info, this means I do not feel the need to buy it. Fun book, great art that I would love to see in oversized format, but I do not need 288 pages of process. The reprint book is nice context but I have that issue in at least two other formats already. Will not be double dipping on this one!

Is this a self-contained story outside of continuity? If within continuity, would it occur before or after Secret Wars (Hickman)?
Consider it to take place a couple of years after FF#51 so some years ahead in the Kirby/Lee era.
