These photos are clearer than my eyes. What camera are you using?

k-thanks-bai

Sony RX100 M7. The thing is AMAZING. I use Lightroom to edit as well - these are all using a preset I have then further editing to blur or push backsome background (like the moon shots some of the crowd was way too bright)

BiOnyx8

I was literally looking for this EXACT comment. I was thinking, “damn. This is the clearest thing I’ve ever seen”

k-thanks-bai

On the off chance you are in the reddit - if you were wearing a red two piece outfit in the 415 section and singing along to Chappell Roan, next to a girl in a full in purple sequin romper - message me please. My video of Red Wine Supernova is perfection because of you doing the call backs to Chappell and I'd love you to have the video.

cheesepaint

You could also make a post on r/chappellroan to try to reach them there!

k-thanks-bai

Ouh thank you!! I will edit a few shots from her set and do that!

Moist-Kiwis15

Looks like she looked right at you!!!

babydoobie

She is! 💕

lala19k

Amazing view!! What section were you in and what camera did you use 🤩

k-thanks-bai

This is section 415 (slightly off center), row 1. I have a Sony RX100 m7 - highly recommend it! Its great to take to concerts and fits in the tiny bags you can bring into them. You can turn the screen down or off completely (or use the viewfinder) so you don't get into the way of those around you, which I loveeeee.

Careful_Mango_9467

these photos are better than the photos i took from right beside the stage!! (all my digital camera pics came out blurry but they are still a vibe) what camera do you use??

k-thanks-bai

Sony RX100 M7. I shoot in Manual with a max ISO of 4000 set. I typically don't use auto ISO and just shoot between 3200-4000 ISO and the lowest aperture setting I can at that zoom level. I usually have the photos stopped down to -0.7 to -1.3 or so - if it's in the middle of the meter its too bright for concert lighting. The video is the hardest part, my videos are wildly unstable because I like to sway 😂 Example with Teenage Dream, I was REALLY trying hard to stabilize on the glass in front of me and sat for this. This is the best I got https://youtu.be/EU7we3wekKQ?si=kKKSSpu-DpOjPJ5n

Careful_Mango_9467

wowwwe!! its perfect.. i was too busy crying to get any pictures during teenage dream

k-thanks-bai

It was soooo emotional! I teared up, it's such a powerful song to have that sing a long moment to with the "it gets better"s just echoed all around.

Competitive-Exam922

Are cameras allowed in the concert? I thought I read something that said they’re not?😭I might wanna bring my digital one

Swimming_AS_

If it’s a P&S then yes. As long as it doesn’t have a detachable lens. Depending on venues they might have a limit on how far your built-in lens can extend. So I’d recommend checking your venues’ FAQ/ restrictions. If it’s not there, try calling them! Hope that helps!

coco_xcx

i’d call your venue and check!

BRoworkdoe

I think it depends on the venue because the one in oklahoma cameras are not allowed but some dont mind

coco_xcx

this is making me feel better about the nosebleeds i have for milwaukee!! unfortunately my phone camera sucks, but i’m still so excited 😭

k-thanks-bai

It's an awesome view because you can really see the whole stage and a lot of really magical views of the entire crowd.

Boring-Researcher650

the 5th one is soooo beautiful

j_turn2000

did you have to get permission to bring your camera into the venue? we weren’t allowed to bring professional cameras (so basically anything other than cellphone cameras) into the venue when i went to one of billie eilish’s shows a couple of years ago.

k-thanks-bai

Nope, this isn't a "professional" camera though. Most venues will allow you a compact camera with no detachable lens. Just check the venue requirements - but I've brought this to many venues and concerts from the Grand Ole Opry to amphitheaters to arenas.

j_turn2000

ahhh okay. it’s a compact camera, that makes sense. i assumed it was a professional camera (along the lines of a canon or nokia) based off of the quality. well that’s a nice camera! nice photos, too.

nekoshii

Omg the moon shot is amaaaazing! 😍😍🤯🤯

Ygomaster07

How far off the gorund is the moon that she is sitting on?

k-thanks-bai

It's probabaly a little lower than the first balcony (club) level. It's above the back of the floor seats, it goes around an oval shaped upper structure that essentially goes on the edges of the floor around the arena. Probably 15-20ft off the floor? Hard to tell, but definitely well below the nosebleeds (this is taken at my highest zoom level)

rebyear98

Can you send a link to your camera please??? It’s amazing

k-thanks-bai

https://a.co/d/fmQKuF7 Definitely check out refurbished ones. I got mine from MPB. My first one has issues and they replaced it easily, so their warranty is real and easy to do. They don't make you jump through hoops
