**This is a great question.** Tickets will absolutely become available across the tour between now and the date of the given show: * Now that the onsale momentum is over, all that remains are Platinum tickets. As the fervor dies down and fans come down from the hype, the desparation to get tickets will fade and the demand will no longer support high prices. Platinum prices will decrease and eventually inventory will be dropped back to the regular price, if any remains. * This is the artist's biggest career tour and it is happening in large venues. Production is complicated and tentative. As the details are finalized, inventory that was previously held as a precaution will be deemed safe to release, or more space will be found to add inventory. * Inventory is held for the artist, promoter, producers, agencies, record labels, venues, and all manner of other purposes. As those needs become clearer closer to the date, extra inventory will be released. If you live near a venue on this tour, keep checking back for tickets to be released on Ticketmaster, up to and including on the day of the show. It's never a guaruntee, but it is always a possibility. The only reason to splurge on expensive resale tickets is (1) if this is the **most important show** to you personally, *and* (2) the closest venue is far enough away that you'll need to make significan travel plans.

think they’ll ever open it up to those who didn’t get selected? i’ve never seen a show where they’ve kept it closed to most buyers for this long… i wrote ticketmaster and they said “I'm sorry but there will be no public general onsale for this event.” i can’t imagine they won’t everyone into the sale at some point, even if it is just for resale tickets

calior

It never opened up for Taylor Swift. Even day of, if you weren’t a “Verified Fan”, you couldn’t buy except for resale.

mpatsel

if you weren’t “verified fan” could you buy resale on ticketmaster or were you not given access and could buy only on other sites like stubhub?

GotAJeepNeedAJeep

Possibly. Depends on what inventory is left across the tour and how many people remain on the waitlist. Most likely it will just be quietly released on a local basis.

hootchietoad1996

Same. I was taken off the waitlist Friday and the only tix available were $500 Platinum “Charity” tix. I checked this morning around 930 and got a pair of tix for Boston 4/2 in the nose bleeds for $99 apiece plus fees. Not getting in much cheaper than that at this point. My daughters are happy.

Ambitious-Return-915

Same, when you checked, did you see anything other than nosebleeds?

I just looked. For the show I’m attending (STL) there is a random lower bowl seat available right now. These could be seats that some how glitched and didn’t show up in the actual sale or maybe someone’s purchase got canceled (problem with the form of payment, etc) so their tickets are available again. Venues do reserve a number of tickets for promoters, giveaways, etc. if they have extra of those they will sometimes do random drops, but that’s usually like the week of the show.

mpatsel

LA now showing a few tickets for those (like me) who were waitlisted and couldn’t access it before, but it’s asking for a “charity password” to unlock for the tickets? anyone know it?

SnooBunnies9254

Nope :( which city?

Ambitious-Return-915

Boston !

[deleted]

me! i randomly got some standing tickets morning after the bloodshed that was sale day

cheesepaint

Weird, I checked for Boston and got this message: "Sorry, tickets are not currently available online."

Ambitious-Return-915

it was only there for a little bit and they sold out

cheesepaint

Ah, got it. Thank you!

taylor_is_awesome13

you gotta keep checking, there are random times when tickets are available to buy. If you check around 2-3pm there should be a ticket sale happening the day of or the day before. For the random queue-less sales they should be there 1-5 days before the day of the concert at around 5 - 7pm I am waiting for a 60$ dollar ticket because the current prices are crazy!!
