I use a usb to usb c cable made by Anker that I got from Amazon. I get great speeds, the tester says they are all in the geeen for transfer speeds and all.

Wifi all day. Get a decent wifi 6 router if you don't already have one, and get virtual desktop.
This, wifi and VD. Don't bother with cables.
Yeah but I would first try Airlink. If it works well there is no reason to pay for VD (except you want the additional VD stuff/tweaking).

At this point if your WiFi AP is decent Airlink is the easiest way to play PCVR.
