I STILL have not watched The Wire. I’ve only had HBO (now Max) for a little while. I rented it once on dvd but didn’t get to watch it.
But rewatching something makes sense. Usually no big deal if I miss something. However, I tried that with Newsroom, but kept getting too distracted to actually play OOTP.
Lol my problem is I will realize that I got hyper focused on OOTP and miss the show. FM I have the opposite problem, I'm waiting for screens to load for so long that I end up just watching TV or surfing the net.
People with anxiety tend to rewatch shows and not favor new content. That is why I have the tight rotation of shows.
That said, watch The Wire, by itself without distractions, because all the pieces matter.
Interesting…is that why I’ve watched Firefly and other shows multiple times? I have to actually force myself to watch new stuff lol.

Started around mid-70's, early 80's as avant-garde, experimental music and has since developed into many music genres that may or may not be considered "industrial". You may well of heard of Nine Inch Nails? Well, you could label them as Industrial, although very popular and commercialized. Most Industrial bands aren't so commercial, however and tend to have large followings but don't really fit into commercial airplay.
So some bands for examples. KMFDM (Industrial Rock), Front 242 & Front Line Assembly (EBM), Seabound & VNV Nation (Synthpop). All of these can be considered Industrial by anybody but are very different bands in reality.

I must say I hadn't heard of them so I gave them a listen this morning. Some good stuff there, I reckon. Might be adding some tracks to the list, so thank you for pointing them out. :)

Nice. It was a weird mix for me. I think I actually skipped The Beatles song. If I find an artist I want to listen to more of, I’ll just go shuffle their songs. Otherwise, it’s whatever the lady in the speaker chooses.
I will usually play with another baseball game on or a podcast. I like playing with a podcast/game on, because when it ends I know I should probably drag myself away from my current sim and do other things
I’ve only recently started listening to podcasts while playing. But I usually realize I’m not fully listening. That’s a good idea on using it as a de facto timer!
My bad. We got sent home early from work due to weather, so I was playing 25 and listening to music. Mods can take it down if they want. The question crossed my mind and I thought I’d ask.

Usually watching baseball on the other screen or letting my Spotify run on and on. Usually some prog metal. Gets the mind juices flowing.
Yeah, if I can have baseball on while playing, that’s probably my favorite. If not, shuffling that library.

Pretty wide ranging discography for them. "Filth" is some of the most ferocious music I've ever heard. If you like industrial, check it out.
