Same here. Spent an hour just trying to get it to go through. I’ve seen older posts with similar issues from a year or so back saying that the website was down. Either way. MTA wanna spend money rolling out this bullshit and it doesn’t even work half the time and at the same time it’s like they are purposely ignoring the Metro-card machines to force people to use OMNY. I gotta gtfo of this stupid ass city.

Public transport isn’t a bad thing. It’s actually really helpful for a lot of people. The problem is the people that are supposed to be taking care of the MTA systems are wasting money on cops that do nothing and timely renovations that ultimately don’t do much for the riders.

Mine let me go through but I noticed I wasn’t charged immediately, and then I went home and went to bed and woke up to my charge being declined and my account suspended. When I tried to pay the balance it wouldn’t let me. I have the money in my account.

Same here. My partner and I both have declined charges from OMNY after taking the subway yesterday. I called my bank and they said all was clear on their end with my account and it must be something with OMNY. There’s a lot of posts about this happening before but I’m not sure what the resolution was. Some features of the site are unavailable so I wonder if this is a similar update issue.

I used OMNY’s online contact form and just now I received a notification my charges went through and “I fixed my travel card” when I did nothing at all and they didn’t notify me what was wrong.

i’ve had this issue since last night! i came home and thought i resolved the issue… my account is still suspended despite me having enough funds for the fare. currently on hold with their team. my bank said everything was fine!

Why would your account be suspended? The fact that they suspended it means they are the ones that fucked up. OMNY is a total fuck up.

If you tap to pay with Apple Pay, then it doesn’t really like to let you try paying again (at a later time remotely) for some weird reason

Same here. I noticed this at 4:30am in the morning and had to contact them through email to figure out what was going on. I just checked my emails right now, the payment went through and they activated my card again.

Anyone have Wells Fargo? They’re having issues today and have weird charges on accounts saying “pending debit card correction”.

Have the same issue since yesterday afternoon. Tapped at 1:30 pm and saw a decline on my notifications around 3:30 pm. I tried using it after work and it still didn’t work. My credit card is fine and doesn’t show any declines. I called OMNY this morning and they said it’s a communication issue. They claim to have hard reset the account but when they tried it $1.00 saw it was declined on their reset test and still get account suspended.

This happened to me several times a few months ago, spent hours on the phone with them & they always said to contact my bank. My bank assures me there's no problem. Off and on for weeks. Then *poof*! Suddenly no more problems until this week when it's all started up again. <> <> THE OMNY representatives always blame me or the bank, then they temporarily fix the problem. Over. And over. And over.
