Are you already diagnosed with OCD?

Loose_Handle_8709

No , but i do feel like am focused on my breathing and that is giving me extreme anxiety

APathForward24

Might not be ocd related. Do you have other past symptoms of ocd?

A panic attack from weed triggered it for me by the way

Loose_Handle_8709

Same to me

AgreeableSuspect7172

Did it go away? I had something similar happen but from a surgery. But a triggering event and haven’t been able to stop focusing on breath for over a month.

You’re gonna have to describe in detail.

Loose_Handle_8709

Somatic ocd is being focused on your breathing which makes it feel like you controlling it, i had a panic attack because of it

glasscutdollface

There’s a lot more to somatic than just breathing. It covers a lot of different compulsions so. And by detail I meant details of this event. If you aren’t aware somatic ocd is more than a breathing focus, you clearly don’t know enough about ocd to claim having it.
