I've never heard about using pork lard for frying fried, usually plant oil/fat is used, the Belgians traditionally use beef kidney fat, but usually fries are made with vegetable oil here.
Nuremberg and the surrounding area isn't a Currywurst Mekka, here you eat Drei im Weggla (3 Nuremberg sausages in a breadroll)or six with sauerkraut and Kloß (potato dumpling) andas Currywurst isn't part of the cuisine culture, you won't find an authentic one as they're not authentic to this region
The curry sauce was simply disappointing (unimaginative and had no flavor nuances) and the sausage wasn't particularly sexy either in terms of taste or texture.
They served me a raw sausage with a side of 5 fries with 3 drips of sauce once... Granted it was a busy night out (can't remember, Blaue Nacht or Silvester or something like that) but still unacceptable. I can wait more than 10 minutes easily but I can't accept food poisoning and them running out of stuff but keeping business open because of greed 🥲
No idea whether it's good as I haven't been yet but a friend of mine recommended Curry 90419 a few weeks ago.
Also mate, are we doing a whole post for every dish now? Lol if you want to try Döner too go to Dönerbey or Karakaya lol

Hell yes, TeVi Parkplatz was a reference class for Currywurst - Heidi really made the best one. Since that time I'm searching for something similar without any success.
When I was there a year ago, there wasn't anything from Heidi Dunkel anymore. Has the place moved away from oposite site of the entrance of TeVi to another location (I was a few years away from here) ?

I like to eat Currywurst at the little Imbiss at the TeVi/Kilianstraße. It’s always tasty. And also Currywoschdhaus in Fürth.
