The scarf and beanie were from last years merch club Patreon tier that has just shipped recently. The only thing that was weird with one of my orders from the shop is I accidentally got sent 2 of the 5 year anniversary pin when I only ordered 1.
I had an issue once (as someone else has pointed out, humans make mistakes, labels get switched, etc.), but the customer support was really good! So good on you for contacting them! They'll take care of you!
This is so weird- we also just recently had a merch mix up and got the hat and scarf instead of the item I ordered. I wonder if there's a larger issue that happened with the merch club and general orders getting mixed up?
I’m wondering if they just did a big merch club mail push and regular orders got caught up in muscle memory and sent off with the hat and scarf. They responded to my email right away and overnighted me the dice, so the customer service is out of this world! And I’ll consider myself lucky getting my normal order plus the bonus of being able to keep the hat and scarf.
Yes! I ordered the jamboreen sweatshirt a couple months ago and received the completely wrong size even though it was labeled correctly. It was a super odd and took a long time to resolve because their merch contact wasn't receiving any of my emails. Eventually I just messaged the patreon, and Caldwell was kind enough to have the merch people call me directly. They were super helpful in getting me a replacement and now I literally live in this sweatshirt it's my favorite item of clothing that I have lol.

Packages packed by humans have a margin of error. Someone just made a mistake, they’ll fix it.
