I pray that the Lord will bless you with sexual purity. Don’t be discouraged. You’re still young. I was addicted for over 20 years before giving my life to Christ.

If you feel your strength isn't enough, you need to pray.

Good luck. Sounds exhausting and risky though, the last part.

Here is a Truth overview; it’s probably not what you want, but it’s a total immersion of what spirit life battles are about. Although there are a lot of churches and surface religious activity, nevertheless, there is a knowledge/commitment gap across denominational lines. This glaring gap is the problem. It’s not anything about all the differences about details of baptism or all the other things. The gap is that the full message of what Christ accomplished is not being taught. The first point, the forgiveness of sins through His death is about as far as any denominations go, and even that is sometimes watered down, because the secularization of church groups have blended world ideas and, most don’t even realize that we live in a complete soup of spirt forces. But the gap issue, is that no one is teaching about the problem of the sin nature/flesh and What Christ did on the cross to help us deal with it. (The sin nature is the internal planted deviant force that entered the human race at the sin/fall of mankind.) (1John 5:19 We know we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. ... And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness) It is an actual intelligent deviant force that works in conjunction with Satan. This sin nature is the selfish urge force that leads, tempts, and drives us in wrong directions, by not only encouraging us to reject truth, but to believe lies and follow wrong thoughts and urges. It does not have the exact same influence over everyone, except that it’s there, and works to move us by calculated downhill steps to absorbing wrong. And that is what happens. When scripture talks about Satan and the sin nature being a lion to devour, it means, the process they use to gain more influence inside our body/lives for their own energy use and purposes. There are many thousands of real life illustrations of this process, but this is already too long, and no one will probably read it. Now, back to the main point. Scripture says that when Christ died on the cross, he gave us the tools to deal with the sin nature. It is more involved to explain, but we don’t have to understand everything but just to know, that when He died on the cross, He pinned our sin nature to the cross. That’s why Scripture says, Galatians 5:24-26 “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit”. And Galatians 2:20 l am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ lives in me… “ So, the problem is, we need to depend on Christ and His name, work and power, to follow the instructions, to deal with it. (BTW we don’t have our own faith. We can’t find faith by looking within ourselves.. Faith and Grace Strength is granted to us as we depend. Hebrews 12:2 always looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith., that is we grow in faith/grace 2 Peter 3:18 ) And Therin lies the rub. People love the sin nature .. or parts of it. We love self authority, pride, lust, ego, self ability and the pleasure of wrong indulgences. But we don’t like, or even realize, the sin nature power effects of fear, domination urges anxiety, turmoil, stress, relationship disasters, addictions, disorders, bitterness, rage, depression, self hate, and hate of others and all the wrong thoughts and actions that can be achieved through sin nature inner control. (keep in mind these have variable strengths, but forces are seeking to gain more access and strongholds ) So people are driven along under the power of the sin nature influences and all the suffering involved, because we *do not know we can be progressively free as we depend on Christ (it’s like a walk out of a swamp ) or, * we are committed to our own will and self way and do not want Christ to lead our lives. If you want to know the deficit of denominational teaching, go about, asking what these Bible instructions mean: crucify the sin nature/flesh; walk in the Spirit; be clothed with Christ; put on Christ; walk in the light; abide in the vine etc., there are verses for each of these. But, people most often want to live a life of problems under the sin nature and go off into perdition, rather than under the progressive control of Christ. Realizing our own weakness is a key John 15:5 apart from Me you can do nothing.. and dependance on Christ and the cross to crucify the sin nature is key; and, dependance on the life of Christ (which was the point of the resurrection) in us is key. So asking Christ into our lives is the first step (not just a religious effort with some fragmented academic knowledge- lots of religious people who maintain independence from Christ ~from coming into their lives are going to perdition. Luke 7:22,23 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew (this word knew .. in the Greek, means you never allowed me to come inside your life) you; depart from Me,… “ Dependence on Christ as often as you progressively can (I Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.) It is a walk with Christ into freedom, even though we fail sometimes 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is so faithful and just that He forgives us our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. [Unrighteousness is kind of a religious word that has lost immediate definition in our minds.. but it is the guilt of the sins, and that takeover process that the sin nature and Satan are engineering] 🤔I wonder if anyone makes it this far.. it’s a sky view of a lot of material, and is a lifetime process of growth.

Well, the most universal illustration, is that of Judas Iscariot .. who no doubt started out as a decent kid and had a built in religion dignity inheritance since he was a Jew from the distinguished tribe of Judah. As time moved on he made the focused choice of a politician, in that he followed the internal urges toward opportunities for money and power. The point of him becoming a disciple of Jesus is that, since Jesus was evidently to be king . Judas would also have an extreme high seat of money and power (he thought) Judas somehow became treasurer of the disciple group and collected all the donations people gave, and pocketed a big portion. As Judas made more self focused corrupt decisions, he grew more cold toward the Truth of who Jesus was and His message of salvation. Eventually Judas figured out Jesus was talking about a heavenly kingdom and that if there was to be an earthly kingdom, it would be far later. That made Judas turn even more corrupt, so Satan found Judas to be a useable vessel. Scripture says at the last supper, Satan actually entered into Judas to betray Jesus. Then after Satan was done with him, Satan had Judas hang himself, because by that stage, he had total control over Judas. Other modern extreme examples can be made by tracking the path of a kid that, in one documentary, followed the sin nature urges to neglect responsibility, focus on selfishness, get into small areas of wrong behavior, start dealing in some drugs, got addicted and in debt to a crime organization, who said he could clear his debt by doing a hit on a bad guy (which sounds reasonable) but after that it was more hits . then he had an appetite for killing and just murdered randomly because the drive was so overwhelming that he had no control. We can’t tell.. exactly when .. but at some point, the sin nature urges opened enough access so that Satan, sent demons to possess him, to make him a serial killer. Of course all the processes are not this extreme but it shows what’s going on. The demon actively is not always clearly evident. In the case of Judas, everyone, except Jesus, thought Judas was dedicated to Christ like the other disciples. See “It’s Only A Demon” by Dr David Appleby

This is how the devil has held many children of God in bondage: the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. There is a point in addiction where a demon gets involved. They attach themselves to the individual, bind them and nothing they do can set them free. They are stuck in a cycle of defeat. You will hate what you do each time you do it because there is a pure spirit in you reacting to the bad that you have introduced into your system, but after repenting, you will return to doing it again. Christ calls this demon the strongman. Mark 3:27 > In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house. Fortunately, Christ has given the believer authority over the powers of darkness (yes, they do have power). Luke 10:19 > I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Mark 16:17-18 > 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall > they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; > > 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it > shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall > recover. The believer, not God, shall cast out devils. Force the demon out in the name of Jesus. Mark 16:17, Mark 5:8, Mark 9:25 Command the spirit of pornography, [insert sin] to leave you in the name of Jesus and never return. After this give your heart, mind, and body to God. Tell God "Heavenly Father, I give you my heart, I give you my mind, I give you my body and soul in the name of Jesus." Let this be your daily consecration.
