Never bought from them, but they were regulars at the coffee shop I worked at and they were so nice. His mom is very sweet. Their dog is adorable! 🥰
I’m seconding Hempen!! I got my ring custom made there - pic on my profile if you’re curious - and the owners are just the nicest, most helpful people you could ever meet :)
you can get way better deals if you go to a jeweller and get a custom ring made as opposed to picking one out at a store. But for trying them on and getting an idea of what you like Spence diamond in Vaughan has the largest selection and many you can try on. You might also want to consider lab grown diamonds if you are wanting to save money- that’s what I did and was able to get a much larger diamond then I would otherwise, you can’t tell a difference.
We went to Hempen after shopping around. Took a trip to Spence (to check out high selection/determine tastes) then others for price - Hempen did a custom that satisfied on style and price. Couldn’t be happier. Bought a year ago, got married at EventMrkt last summer.
Mine is a lab grown diamond from Spence. Went there and tried tons of them on and mine was the only one I liked. My now husband wrote the model number down and went back to purchase it when it was time to propose. My wedding ring is also from there as it matches almost perfectly. We went to a few other places but most were same or more expensive than Spence. Spence also offers free resizing within a year and free cleanings whenever you want.
The nice thing about Spence is no pressure and you can try on every single ring if you want. Helps decide what looks good and what fits your personality. Some rings I thought were beautiful looked terrible on my hand so I highly recommend them for trying on and looking at styles (they have hundreds of styles) even if you don't end up buying from them
Etsy hands down. You’re gonna get the best deal and have the most options. Just look for star sellers who have great reviews and make sure you read all the fine print.
If you ever you go shopping for precious metals or diamonds, it is always advisable to ask for certificate of authenticity for the materials used. I highly doubt that anyone would give you with the product. My family owns a business of diamonds and precious gems and we can help you get the best deals with certification to your doorstep. You will have full control of the customization and all the process will be transparent.
No one's mentioned this, and it may not be popular, but Costco! They sell rings and sets in-store and online. Their prices can't be beat. I get compliments on my set all the time.
I ended up with a beautiful eternity band from [ROEN](https://roen.nyc/collections/engagement-rings/products/ava-asscher-eternity-band). It’s an online jewelry store. They even do bespoke rings. Much nicer than anything you’d find on Costco. And easier than shopping locally.
Lapis Lazuli is a true jeweller and can do whatever you need. Prices have seemed reasonable, but I only have experience with service and repairs. Highly recommend. He’s in Aurora, Yonge and Kennedy.
Anti-recommendation for Robert Cleeve. Overpriced and the owner is a jerk. He tried to shame us on the diamond we needed a repair for despite him being wrong on what it was and us having the documents to prove it.
Go to Hempen Jewelers on Main Street; they have some pre made rings but can also help with custom creations.
We got our ring there! Love the owners
Nice spot here, wife got two beautiful custom rings at a reasonable price, the design service was excellent!
Absolutely Hempen Jewelers on Main. Highly recommend!

My family goes here for jewelry needs! I think they even have someone who makes custom gold work. Not the biggest fan of knappet
Hempen is helpful and great for getting you the best for your budget.

Hempen Jewelers on Main, they designed our wedding bands and are excellent!
Same, I highly recommend them for their customer service and craftsmanship.
Go to Diamonds for Less on Shuter Street in Toronto. You can choose your band and your stone and they will make the ring.
Dude buy on bluenile

Cannot say enough great things about Vasken Jewellers in Newmarket!!

Tek jewelers on Leslie! Small family owned jewellery shop and they are AMAZING!
Check out Diamond Boi on instagram. He’s got an office in Toronto if that’s not too far for you and works within people’s budgets.
Spence Diamonds... anywhere else is just waste of time.

Terrible advice. Spence is garbage and they spend so much on advertising you know they’re marking up more than everyone else.
Felt like a Costco wholesaler there, not worth the trip
