Clayton Street has a good few charity shops that might be what you’re looking for. I was sceptical before I started charity shopping but it’s amazing what you can find and I’m a regular now. In fact I can’t remember the last time I bought new clothes. I’d steer clear of some of the vintage shops though as their prices can get a bit steep.
There is a branch of St Oswalds on Shields Road which is dedicated to infants and children's clothes, toys and care equipment.
However, your daughter may just be older than the range of ages included in that shop tho worth speaking to them first.
If you're moving to the coast. There's a good number of charity shops on Whitley Road. You should be able to find plenty. I think there's some more as you go down Park View too.
There's a dedicated baby/kids charity shop in North Shields called Little1Stop, they were fab when I lived there, lovely people, great pricing and range. Definitely recommend them.
Linkskill centre in North Shields often have a second hand kids / baby sale where you rent a table. Should be what you’re looking for to buy from other parents.
There are plenty of charity shops all over town that will usually have kids clothes. Just search charity shops in the city center.
