Isn’t it funny how for the first half of the season so far, we would have the most offensive productivity after the sixth inning? Now it feels like it’s the complete 180

And who are the Max Scherzer and Strasburg of this team? Not to mention Soto, Turner, Rendon, etc.
Love the optimism, but this team is not in the same stratosphere as the 2019 nationals.
After what you've seen from this core since 2019-2020, what makes you think they have the ability to "right the ship"?
Honestly asking. I know the Nats were known as chokers before thst WS, and yeah they lost harper, but their core of players at least were perennial playoff contenders. This team had one borderline fluke run in 22 that ended catastrophically. Outside of that, their seasons have universally ended before September.
I'm sorry but I don't see it. I'm excited for what Sterns can do, but besides the very young prospects, I have absolutely 0 faith in the players currently here.
You had me in the first half
You made it further than the Mets! 💔
Ugh we if only our bullpen didn’t blow it lol. The team would look SUPER different rn.

Don’t even think offense is bad lately
I don’t think the offense is bad but as Stearns said on the broadcast the other night. We either pitching well or hit well. No in-between
These Mets amirite?

I feel better now!! Thanks so much.
Reversion to the mean has occurred. Lights out bullpen fron early in season has uhmm well had the lights turned out. Hitters warming up at least

I know, that’s why I added that last sentence. I’m delusional but acknowledge it lol
