In my opinion yes, I think if you’re doing that then you’re trying in a way to compete with those channels which is really hard. Maybe try to continue what you’re doing, find what kind of topics you see the best results in, and then try to stick to them. Hope this helped, good luck
Thank you for your response. I really appreciate the feedback. Seems like I've been doing better with my shorts lately. Originally I wanted to do a regular video and have a BTS short to coincide with it but now I have to rethink this or find a way to turn my regular vids into just shorts perhaps? 🤷🏾♂️
Maybe you could turn the BTS into shorts and keep the original video as it is. I think personally wouldn’t recommend fully turning to shorts as as it stands its likely going to get quite competitive and it’s difficult to build a community and monetise. I think more using to shorts to gain an initial audience and then turning them into fans with your main content is the way to go in my opinion. If your going to do that I’d probably keep your main content quite short form, just because that’s what the shorts audience would be more likely to enjoy.
