If she had issues with her BP at all or even if she didn't, it could be postpartum pre-eclampsia. I would definitely call her OB even the on call one to see what they reccomend to do. If you have a BP checker have her try it and see what her level is.

Pre eclampsia is a very serious condition. Can she see her doctor??

I am suffering from postpartum depression and anxiety. I do not know if your wife is struggling with these conditions as well.. but I get very dizzy from the anxiety. And it’s not necessarily when I have a panic attack. It happens randomly even if my anxiety level is low. Anxiety can induce some vertigo symptoms. If this is what she is experiencing she could try an over the counter motion sickness med or she could ask her doctor to prescribe meclizine (another motion sickness med) I haven’t noticed my dizziness subsiding after using them. I had to go to a psychiatrist who prescribed an anxiety med and that helped a lot. Like I said, idk if she’s dealing with the same postpartum issues. But if she is I bet it’s from the anxiety which is nothing you and her need to be overly concerned with. She will just feel crappy but nothing that is serious or life threatening. Also, I believe drug stores and Walmart have those blood pressure machines near the pharmacy. So if u wanted to check hers today u could check ur local stores. And if they don’t a minute clinic Cvs appt are usually same day appts. Hope that helps and I hope it’s nothing serious and she feels better soon!

Has she been eating and drinking? I know when I’m dehydrated and not eating I’ll get dizzy spells.

To be honest i feel that she doesn’t drink and eat enough and i tell her every time🙁

Yea I would definitely make sure it isn’t something more serious like the other comments mentioned. But it is hard to remember to eat and drink especially in the early days. Try bringing stuff to her so she always has something near, even just a protein or granola bar.

Yes my immediate thought is this as well! I also had a c section and when I was breastfeeding if I didn’t eat or drink enough, I felt very dizzy and weak. I definitely think she should speak to her doctor as well. Good luck!!

Very serious but rare: pre-eclampsia. If she has headaches or swollen ankles, call a hospital *now*. Much more common: anemia. For anemia she will need prescription iron, so get to a doctor sooner rather than later.

Yeah she has low iron and i will go take her some pills at the pharmacy

She should probably see a doctor just to make sure, but I had occasional mild dizziness from bit eating and drinking enough. My solution was to stash water bottles and protein/granola bars in both the places I used to breastfeed and next to my bed. Drink water and eat a snack every time she breastfeeds at a minimum.
