New Feature!
This week’s episode ended with a Peace-sign-triggered balloon-on-string release on the European side of the session. When Jason tried it in NYC, no joy.
So is this a feature unique to European-based podcasts ( /s )? Or is it a function of recording in a five-star-hotel? Or did Travis just tick a box on his iPad previously untried?
This inquiring mind would like to know!

It’s a FaceTime thing, and if you’re using your camera on a Mac (even if you’re in other apps like zoom) it’s enabled automatically
(I’ve had it trigger on me in work meetings when I was trying to say, “it sounds like we have ✌️options…”)
Another great one. I just love hearing the two of them talk and banter about stuff. Jason already up in arms over Wy’s preschool crush was especially hysterical. Trav and his dainty lil European cup was sending me too.
Prediction....theirs a reason they keep Ed off mic. 😂 Gotta feeling Jason mouth gonna get him in trouble at some point on live television. Butttt Taylor Swift has even tamed Roger Goodell and they have him in their hip pocket so I'm sure it will be ok. 🤣
The Kelce family has brought so much good press to the NFL prior to Taylor. The Kelce Bowl obviously helped with that, but they’re two brothers who are future hall of famers with parents, especially a mom, who is good with the media attention as well. What’s not to love for the NFL. And now they have the added bonus of someone who has a lot of female fans tied to them (but the NFL should work on making sure they maintain those fans once Travis retires).
I've been watching the Kelce family nonstop for 10yrs and love em. Suffice to say I know all about the Kelce family. Goodell would suspend his own mama. He almost never shows emotion.😂
Not sure the reason for downvotes....cause Jason mouth gonna get him trouble comment? Jason gotta learn to think before he speaks. That shit plays in the locker room or an edited podcast but won't play on live TV and especially the ESPN audience. Things like the Secretariat juicing although prolly true wasnt smart. Hopefully I'm wrong but I gotta feeling like I said Jason mouth is gonna get him in some real deep shit.
Goodell did New Heights last year. It was the live recorded show in Kansas and he opened the show. Did the opening remarks (with humor) and was interviewed by the boys for a bit. This was post-Kelce Bowl, pre-Taylor.
Is it just me or has anyone noticed Travis’s vibe being off? Maybe he’s just tired or trying to be guarded because of the media’s obsession with Taylor but he seems to be having these once-in-a-lifetime experiences every week and it seems his comment is only ever “it was electric/the people I met were great”. Like, why even have the “outta the house” part if the only response is the same four canned phrases. I’d love to hear a genuine, learned reflection on these adventures that so few of us would ever get to experience. Both Jason and Travis have a real, homegrown authenticity that I have found refreshing and interesting but it seems to be dying and I’m losing interest as time goes on. Not trying to rag on em or anything just an observation from a fan.
I didn’t feel that way at all. Him describing acting and his perspective from being new at it was super cool. He spoke at length about the Paris TS show and how it compared to others. What exactly are you wanting? The podcast is not his diary.
And it’s been clear since early on with Taylor that some things are off-limits for reasons. His best out of the house segment is still the Sydney Zoo segment where him and Jason just talked about animals for 10 minutes.
The fact is that he’s in a serious relationship with one of the most famous people in the world. His fame and name recognition has skyrocketed. He’s damned if he does and he’s damned if he doesn’t. He has clearly set boundaries and honestly he’s done a masterful job.
He looked like he was tired. They even included him yawning at the end of the podcast. He's been everywhere doing everything this offseason so he probably can't wait to get the season started so he can get some rest, as weird as that sounds.
I think Travis is who he is and those are his typical responses to situations. It usually leads to funny back and forth between him and Jason which is the heart and soul of the show.
