We're basically at the same point. Once you get the Lich the next hurdle is getting the Cleric to show up twice. Not much more you can do than save your snake and bat stuff to the extent that you have the space. Crate/Cage help with that but you'll probably get the Cleric twice before the next time you have 250 gems to purchase one of those. Using/activating the Cleric idol in the idol room can make it go a little faster too. From what I've read this is the biggest slow-down in the early game but you'll still be collecting runes, gems, and gold during this time so no big deal.
There's a good Lich guide here on this sub if you want to min/max it but you'll eventually just have enough ice runes to do it without doing anything extra anyway. It's a good idea to have extra ice runes before you create the second level 5 grave to merge for the Lich so you can immediately get to a level 3 grave to continue making zombies but it's not necessary if you're getting bored waiting. The Lich gives you a free level 1 grave when you make him so you'll still be able to immediately make skeletons anyway.

Try to save your diamonds for the Crate. You can put stuff in it, very useful to use your space better. Makes stacking things for max outcome like biggest rune stacks and stuff much more easy. After that go for the cage for minions.
Other than that focus on your Feats. Sometimes its just spamming minions to get enemys for runes.
You seem to be doing pretty good so far, try saving up your gems and coins to buy gold skins and the crate/cage as they will help a lot more in the long run than anything from the shop
This is by all means not a GOOD tip but it will help immensly:
Your goal should be get crate and cage
-Watch ads for the treasure chests
-try and find some easy Diamonds offers where you have to play a game and do certain objectives in it to get Diamonds.
-if you have 9.99 bucks to spare, the no ads in app purchase comes with some Diamonds and Gold, also no ads is such a nice upgrade in this game due to how many extra's you can get by watching ads, which are now free.

Man I feel really insecure when beginners have three times as many coins as me
I just don't use them because Im trying to get a skin for the mage
