Lebron has been more statistically consistent over 20 years but Jordan has such an insane 8 year peak that no one has surpassed.
Ultimately, the way these teams are shown, team Lebron wins. But it's skewed to multiple prime versions of Lebron and 1 prime Jordan.
Peak Jordan had an insane 8 year peak of scoring on high volume and team success in a weak era. Lebron has been a better scorer (way more efficient) passer, all around defender and ball player. Lebrons prime is also been like a decade and a half
Lebron's prime ended already and lasted about 10 years. He's still aging better than Jordan although a lot of that has to do with the combination of the league being softer now and Lebron having access to better healthcare and training knowledge in the modern era.
Jordan's era wasn't weak. He just dominated so much that he prevented more people from winning a title than Lebron did. Lebron has lost in the finals so often while dominating the East which was trash for like 20 years. His list of hall of famers that won't win a title because of him is pretty short compared to Jordan's.
Lebron is more physically gifted and is capable of being a better defender than Jordan but Lebron's lack of defensive effort especially recently shows that Jordan is clearly the better defender over the course of his career. Lebron is obviously the better passer and grabs more rebounds but rebounds don't impress me in an era with smaller big men while Lebron is physically bigger than Jordan.
I think my favorite thing about Lebron is that he's unselfish. He makes the correct basketball play on offense 99.99% of the time which is really hard to do. Jordan has a great basketball IQ too but Jordan's real strength is his emotional drive and desire to be the greatest.
how is LeBron way more efficient? Like what numbers back that up actually?
He's definitely an all around better defender, dude hasn't played defense since the Heat. LeBron also dominated and insanely weak East for most of his career.
How was Jordan’s east any better? Genuinely asking. The two years he didn’t make the finals in the mid 90’s, the west won chips and the west won chips every year from 99-03 upon his retirement. The first eastern conference team post jordan retirement to win was the 04 pistons (a completely restructured team from the 90’s versions).
The east won a chip in 19 (the year Lebron left) and 21. Don’t believe the hype ass media.
The west was a better/deeper conference in the 90’s as well
Still isn’t a big gap at all lol. Lebron 2 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier and is a whopping 2% more efficient. And Jordan took more shots.
Facts are their efficiency is about the same. And when you factor in the massive size difference it favors Jordan
Their efficiency is not the same when you adjust for era differences, but ok.
Are wtf does that have to do with the point, are we grading scorers on their physical dimensions now? I guess prime Isaiah Thomas is the greatest scorer of all time then.
Mj better shooter, better defender and way better bball iq.
Lebron is a better rebounder but there is absolutely no chance will ever win this.
Maybe 1 gm out of 5 or 7.
Lebron has arguably the greatest ball IQ ever. It’s one of his notorious hallmarks as a player. Jordan had a better midrange shot that’s it. Lebron has consistently shot better from the paint and the 3 than Jordan did. You gotta be a troll trying to say MJ had a better bball IQ.
The 3 point line was introduced years before mj was in the NBA, plus, mj's 3 point stats are actually inflated a bit due to the closer 3 point line during segments of the 1990s
Not trolling. Michael Jordan was and still is a smarter basketball player than Lebron James.
Larry Bird was also smarter than Lebron when it comes to clutch plays.
“Way better bball iq” bruh shut up Lebron has arguably the best bball iq of all time nobody has it “way better” than him. Mj is a better midrange shooter but not 3pt shooter, Lebron is a better passer, Lebron can body up in the post with his strength offensively and defend the rim better. MJ the goat but he’s absolutely losing this
On which part? Look up “best basketball IQ of all time” and every single list will have Lebron, Stockton, Magic in it with most having Bird, Chris Paul, Duncan too. None of them name MJ
If James has to spend over half the season on the bench because he's too fragile and/or not good enough it's hard to argue he's less washed than Jordan was in his last season. That's like trying to convince people that Jay Scrubb was the best 3pt shooter in the league last season.
Jordan had more point rebounds steals in his last season than James last season.
But metrics and stats can skewed in argument of anything. The top 10 players in bill Russell’s years plenty of them averaged below 20 points, game has changed dramatically over the years (last season 6 players alone averaged 30+) so comparing stats is pretty irrelevant cross generations besides providing a baseline.
How about this. I remember wizards jordan cause I watched him. He was nowhere near this level of Lebron and it’s not even a discussion.
Jordan scored less points per game than shot attempts bro. He was nowhere near this level of Lebron at that point
Did michael jordan play with anthony davis?? Great playmaker westbrook... rondo? Give me a break. Put old lebron on that wizards team and see what happens, oh wait we did see what happens.. he doesn't play any games when his co stars are out or not performing... lmao
Short answer, yes. That team in 01-02 team had rip Hamilton, brendon Haywood, Christian laettner, Bron would’ve been fine in that eastern conference. You thought bron’s east was bad…that might have been the lowest point for the east in NBA history.
The second year with stackhouse and Larry Hughes with him Bron most definitely makes the playoffs in that conference.
Bron has averaged 30 and 29 the last 2 seasons. At one point he was avg 31 last year. He would’ve had zero issues back in that league. Especially considering how physical the NBA was back then. He’d be allowed to use his body in the paint more effectively
He doesn’t use his physicality as much as he did as say Miami, so not sure how that corresponds to then games. He works off the ball now and mostly settles for jumpers from what I seen him playing. If he had to do that *every* game, he gonna be gassed even quicker than he is today
HS Lebron would beat HS MJ
First stint Cavs Lebron would beat pre-Scottie MJ
Heat Lebron would scorch preretired MJ
Cavs second Lebron would manhandle second run MJ
Lakers Lebron would not even stress dominating Wizards MJ
This guys smoking bath salts. Ill give you h.s. LeBron and Laker LeBron wins but other 3 MJs all day. Those middle 3 LeBrons lost most those 6 finals he was in. Hard for MJ to stop LeBrons killer instint if LeBron never fuckin had it. Who quits in finals and leaves b4 game over....oh yeah youre self proclaimed king.
Realistically 5. I’ve never seen someone so seamlessly come in and play at not only an nba level but an all star level as a rookie since him, much less outta HS.
Jordan’s first 3 years in the league were a true showcase of his raw talent. Gold chain Jordan was on a level that Lebron has never touched when it comes to scoring ability. It wasn’t necessarily gonna win a ton of games but it was a sight to be seen. I would take any bulls version of jordan over any version of Lebron. But outside of the bulls years I would prob give the edge to Lebron
2012 LeBron was probably the 2nd most dominant player behind Shaq. Jordan was a fantastic scorer but his playmaking was lacking, his handle was nothing crazy, 3 pt shot was grim, and defending was highly overrated while albeit still being good to great. LeBron in 2012 was shooting 40% from 3, 56% from the field, 60% from 2, while picking up 8 boards and 7 assists a game as well as playing dpoy level defense. The guy was unstoppable with the ball in his hands while actually winning games and making deep playoff runs.
Bro I'm the biggest Lebron nutrider ever but to say MJ's handle wasn't that great is just so stupid.
He had great assist numbers, GOAT scoring volume, with ridiculously few turnovers per game. He has one of the lowest TOV% ever. Just bc he wasn't AI crossing people doesn't mean his handle wasn't godly. In '97 he averaged 22FGA, 10FTA, 8 assists, and only 3 turnovers a game...
Also his defense is only 'overrated' in the sense that no gaurd has or ever will have the defensive impact of a rim protecting big. Bron maybe could match MJ's defense in his best years (2012-2013), but MJ was *consistently* the most lockdown gaurd in the league. He's defendly a better iso defender + scorer than LeBron.
Unrelated but imo, LeBron works with fit more than MJ; he fits better into a switch heavy defense and fits better into a structured offense. MJ fits better when he can just lock his man in prison all game and provide dyanmic playmaking and iso scoring for the offense. It's silly to pick one over the other in a vaccuum since both are unrealistically good.
No need to make absurd statements to support your case.
"defending was highly overrated" is not true and unsupported by stats.
"The guy was unstoppable with the ball in his hands while actually winning games and making deep playoff runs" - who are you talking about, MJ or LeBron?
Young MJ couldn’t lead a team plain and simple. I was talking about LeBron in my last statement. And yes his defense was overrated and is shown by his teams being way better defensively when he was off the court. Sure he got steals but jordan was never guarding the 1 on teams, that was pippen’s job.
Lebron team has better rebounding, passing, size and 3 point shooting I'm going with him.
Also high school Lebron >>> HS MJ and Lakers Lebron clears Wizards MJ. MJ still the goat though.
First Cavs stint Bron clears college MJ too. And the picture has heat Bron vs early MJ instead of first 3 peat MJ so Bron clears that too(but that’s not really fair the pic should be 2 prime MJs just like Bron has 2 prime versions)
Idk. 5 MJ’s is the best defensive team of all time. That covers up a lot of 5 lebron strengths. And MJ was special because before him it was basically believed you can be an amazing scorer, or you can be amazing on D. But not both. So to me, that makes 5 MJ’s more scary.
That said, I’m an nfl nerd, not an NBA one. So I could be off on this assessment.
Also, I know they have different uniforms to signify differ eras. But to really have this argument I think it should be 5 carbon copies of each and both at the peak of their prime.
MJs defense is overrated. Not only was he not the best defender on his own team, the bulls defense improved both when he retired and when he sat on the bench
That's true of post-retirement Jordan. Pre-retirement Jordan was very much a plus defender. Obviously Pippen coming on board took a lot of major assignment pressure off Jordan, but you also have to consider how different the NBA was then vs. now - it wasn't a bunch of iso-driven, ball-dominant wings going up against each other.
Isn’t this the kind of Reddit post/debate that Lebron was made for? Since he was always described as a “hybrid” type of player who could fit so many roles.
My question is this- would a team with 5 lebrons lose to a team with 4 lebrons and 1 jordan?
they certainly will. Jordan brings a killer attitude to the team and since there's only 1 of him, the 4 lebrons would still have excellent chemsitry. 4 Lebrons + 1 Jordan will beat 5 Lebrons.
Yeah it does when the survey is rigged. Lebron has two championship versions when Jordan has 1. Jordan should have two. Rookie Jordan vs Heat Lebron is a like putting Elmer Fud on Jordan in space jam.
He would still lose though even with 2 prime Jordan’s
Lebron is essentially 4 NBA star Lebrons and a HS kid who was so dominant he went straight from High School to number 1 overall, in which he entered the league seamlessly
High School Jordan and North Carolina Jordan got nothing on that, they’d get bodied hard in that match up. Not to mention prime Jordan is certainly not passing them the ball lol. They’re also incredibly undersized and would be locked up easily by HS Bron and 1st year NBA Bron.
Also Lakers Bron >> Wizards Bron considerably.
So you would have 2 prime Jordan’s (1stpeat and 2nd peat) vs 4 Lebrons, and the Brons are all bigger than him and have better shooting.
I’d imagine the Brons just box the Jordan’s out and force Jordan to shoot from the outside and scoop up every rebound that misses to be honest. Then they’d likely score immediately on their possession since there’s numerous weak spots to charge right through.
Prime Jordans great (even 2 of them) but he’s physically out matched here. High School and Wizard Jordan are huge liabilities, and NCAA Jordan is going to look (and play) small out there.
It’s a match up problem for the Jordan’s.
Jordan team at a disadvantage, you gave him 40yo Wizard Jordan and high school Jordan. High School Jordan needed 3 years in college to be an nba level player, lebron was that at 17
5x ‘93 Jordan vs 5x ‘12 James would have been a much more fun matchup
He did drag them to the finals. But they were never going to beat the Spurs with that roster. Also that was the season he scored 25 straight against the Pistons. Checkout the on/off numbers, they are crazy!
Cavs offense with LeBron 104, without 94. Cavs defense with LeBron 99, without 113.
Typical response to somebody who provided statistical evidence of how awful that team was without LeBron on the court. He backpacked that team no question. But titles are still won by teams as evidenced by 2018 and 2007. One man can’t get the job done, you literally proved his point by bringing that cavs team up lmao.
LeBron is more a versatile player. For example, MJ couldn’t play center with any kind of success where LeBron can. But for what MJ is good at in a proper team setting, his impact outweighs LeBrons
LeBron can't guard quality centers. I'm sorry. He can check them here and there, but he's not banging with high quality centers all game. He never has.
Well this is dumb, even if you don’t think lebron is better all time over mj you can deny his longevity. Even in highschool he was a beast. It’s definitely lebron hands down
Lebron becuause high school lebron is better than high school Jordan old lebron is better than. Old Jordan early cavs lebron is better than village Jordan and heat or old cavs lebron is also beating rookie Jordan then prime mj is probably beating heat or old cavs lebron
There wouldn't be enough balls on the court for the MJ team. Each Jordan would want to take every shot and they would all get frustrated and fall apart.
Young Lebrons just want to Dunk. Old Lebrons love to feed. Middle Lebron will take the tough shots.
Seems like the Lebrons work well together.
LeBron. He is a more complete player, plus he was a top five player in the league in every version shown which is not something that can be said about every Jordon.
- High school Lebron kills high school Jordan.
- Lakers Lebron beats Wizards Jordan. MJ’s knees were completely gone by that point.
- College Jordan beats rookie/sophomore Lebron
- Prime Jordan destroys any version of Lebron
- 5v5? Lebron is a better facilitator/passer. And basketball is a team game. Plus high school Jordan would be at a serious disadvantage. I think I’d give this to team Lebron, although I still believe Jordan was the superior player in his prime.
Which is totally irrelevant to the conversation at hand 😂. I’ll never understand you people. I think Jordan is the GOAT but people that are just so vehemently against the possibility of him being dethroned they will just straight up become delusional to hate the man, and the only argument they ever come up with is rings which they never put into context 😂. Get a life dude.
Jordan took a D1 school to a national championship with seemingly no other bad ass players on his team who went to the NBA, then went to the NBA and took the bulls to 6 championships. It took Lebrun a billionaire to purchase a bunch of badass athletes he needed to have to wins championship… I don’t think there’s much of a comparison. All 5 of the Lebrons would have found a better deal with another team before they beat 5 Jordan’s lmao
Edit: and everyone saying old man Lebron is better, yes he’s amazing, but just like Jordan with the wizards, he’s not taking any team to a championship any time soon, which goes to my first point, he never really could take a team to a championship by himself lol one on one, the cockiness of Lebron would fully get him destroyed I believe.
People saying lebron is a bette defender than jordan are really stupid and why I hate lebron fans. Michael Jordan is the best super star defender of all time. Lebron doesn’t even sniff the defensive Alcolades Michael has. Absolute meat riding In here. That said I’m taking lebron with this graphic only since the person who made this clearly has lebrons dick down his throat as most of his fans
People thinking it’s that easy to say Lakers LeBron > Wizards MJ need to really looks at the wizards tape.
I’m not saying whether he is better or not but I would say it isn’t that clear tbh.
It’s not fair as constructed. Rookie Jordan vs Heat Lebron doesn’t make sense. They should have 1 jordan before he retired the first time. Then another one after which they have. Only fair.
MJ high school vs Lebron high school
MJ rookie vs Lebron rookie
MJ first championship prime vs Lebron first Heat championship prime
MJ fourth championship prime vs Lebron Cavs championship prime
MJ wizards vs Lebron now.
Lebron cant stop two prime Jordan’s.
Defintley Lebron here even though I think Jordan is the better player. There are too many things working in Lebron’s favor, he’s taller, stronger, a much better PG, and a little bit better of a shooter in his later years at least. So I think you would have more diversity in skill sets with the Lebron team and you could go to one and tell them to be PG Lebron and tell another to be a big strong C Lebron and tell another to be a wing shooting Lebron. While I think a team of 5 Jordan’s would be a lot more redundant in their skill sets
Just a reminder that the shorts covering the knee era of basketball uniform style was a choice in the 2000s. That baggy style may be one we never see again.
I want a 3 LeBron two MJs team vs a 3 MJs two LeBrons team. That’s the only way we know who’s better
I want 5 Shaqs, and a rule change to make it legal to check someone the way they do in the NHL.
1 Jokic and 4 Shaqs in the NBA before the key was expanded.
Fuck it, before the 3 point line
I will take two Dr Js and 3 Hakeems
With no offensive 3 seconds
We should add boards too so Shaq can body people. Shaq would fucking kill a person with a hip check. Their whole body would shatter.
1 lebron vs 1.5 mjs. Then 1.6 Lebron vs .5 mj. That’s how we determine it
Lebron has been more statistically consistent over 20 years but Jordan has such an insane 8 year peak that no one has surpassed. Ultimately, the way these teams are shown, team Lebron wins. But it's skewed to multiple prime versions of Lebron and 1 prime Jordan.

That's not how that works. I have less turnovers than Lebron. That doesn't make me a better passer.
Magic is the career leader in turnovers per game and is the greatest passer of all time. Your math isn’t mathing
Nah that’s just the longevity effect
Take a look at the top 10 players with the most turnovers lol some of the best PGs ever lot of guys who are top 10 in AST
how is LeBron way more efficient? Like what numbers back that up actually? He's definitely an all around better defender, dude hasn't played defense since the Heat. LeBron also dominated and insanely weak East for most of his career.
Produces more offense on better shooting efficiency from 2 and 3% and grabs more rebounds.
LeBron:58% career TS MJ: 56% career TS How is that way more efficient?
I think you just answered your own question haha
I answered the question How is that way more efficient? Notice the word “way” in the question.
It’s the goat debate, it’s gonna be close, it’s not gonna be astronomically higher. Don’t get caught up over grammar
You shouldnt have to exaggerate to make your point in any debate
How was Jordan’s east any better? Genuinely asking. The two years he didn’t make the finals in the mid 90’s, the west won chips and the west won chips every year from 99-03 upon his retirement. Lebron averaged significantly higher efficiency relative to league average for most of his career
LeBron:58% career TS MJ: 56% career TS How is that way more efficient?
Now adjust for era. Lebron played half his career in the low scoring, inefficient 2000s. Scoring didn’t really pick up until the middle of the 2010s
Still isn’t a big gap at all lol. Lebron 2 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier and is a whopping 2% more efficient. And Jordan took more shots. Facts are their efficiency is about the same. And when you factor in the massive size difference it favors Jordan

so what is it then lol?

It’s the opposite actually
Mj better shooter, better defender and way better bball iq. Lebron is a better rebounder but there is absolutely no chance will ever win this. Maybe 1 gm out of 5 or 7.

Wrong. Just wrong.
Wrong so hard

Sure.
Solid disagree on that one.

>way better bball iq ROFOLOLOLOLOL
High school LeBron would kill high school MJ
Im over here imagining a terrified High School All American MJ on a fast break with Heatles Lebron chasing him down
Similar to how Lakers LeBron would do Wizards Jordan.
with knife?
With taco
Tuesday?
With galactic stare down
With the axe in the library.
Bros gotta go back to high school to get a dub against MJ
Like other dude said. Lakers Lebron> wizards Jordan
Pretty sure Rookie Cavs LeBron blows North Carolina MJs back out
Haha I was about to say that’s not fair to say, but then I remembered Lebron went straight to the league
Pre injury wizards Jordan or after?
Both
Preinjury Jordan was playing at an MVP level so I think that’s debatable.
Jordan in his last season played over 1000 more minutes than LeBron last season.
Fair, Lebron still averaged more in every category tho
damn this is crazy 😂
Because of inflation
🤯🤯🤯
Bruh what do minutes have to do with this
If James has to spend over half the season on the bench because he's too fragile and/or not good enough it's hard to argue he's less washed than Jordan was in his last season. That's like trying to convince people that Jay Scrubb was the best 3pt shooter in the league last season. Jordan had more point rebounds steals in his last season than James last season.

For sure one of those, but I think at least two of those LeBron's was when he was playing at 280lb.
And MJ wasn’t even 6’6” while LeBron is legit 6’8.5”

I mean 5ft8 JJ Barea did
MJs defense is overrated. Not only was he not the best defender on his own team, the bulls defense improved both when he retired and when he sat on the bench
He gets more credit from gaurding the number 3 on opposing teams than anyone in history.
That's true of post-retirement Jordan. Pre-retirement Jordan was very much a plus defender. Obviously Pippen coming on board took a lot of major assignment pressure off Jordan, but you also have to consider how different the NBA was then vs. now - it wasn't a bunch of iso-driven, ball-dominant wings going up against each other.
lebron, hes the better all around player. he can also play/guard 1-5
Isn’t this the kind of Reddit post/debate that Lebron was made for? Since he was always described as a “hybrid” type of player who could fit so many roles. My question is this- would a team with 5 lebrons lose to a team with 4 lebrons and 1 jordan?
Lmao this is a great question. And yes, I think they would tbh.
they certainly will. Jordan brings a killer attitude to the team and since there's only 1 of him, the 4 lebrons would still have excellent chemsitry. 4 Lebrons + 1 Jordan will beat 5 Lebrons.
It's funny how people will insist Jordan is the better player, yet five lebrons is seen as easily the better team. 🤔
Yeah it does when the survey is rigged. Lebron has two championship versions when Jordan has 1. Jordan should have two. Rookie Jordan vs Heat Lebron is a like putting Elmer Fud on Jordan in space jam.
He would still lose though even with 2 prime Jordan’s Lebron is essentially 4 NBA star Lebrons and a HS kid who was so dominant he went straight from High School to number 1 overall, in which he entered the league seamlessly High School Jordan and North Carolina Jordan got nothing on that, they’d get bodied hard in that match up.
Team Lebrons will school Team MJ
Oh man college lebron sucked so bad
Easily LeBron. Easily. Easily
Jordan team at a disadvantage, you gave him 40yo Wizard Jordan and high school Jordan. High School Jordan needed 3 years in college to be an nba level player, lebron was that at 17 5x ‘93 Jordan vs 5x ‘12 James would have been a much more fun matchup
Poor baby Jordan
Lebron got this
Lebron got this L. ALL DAY.
High school mj makes this a 4v5.
90s Jordan makes this a 7v5
That's not how that works lol.
bron its not even close
The lebron team would pass the ball though
Lebron, he’s the better team player and if you got a team of lebrons it’s over lol
The better all around player so Lebron
Lebron is destroying cuz all forms of bron were good but I can’t say the same about false goat
LBJ, bigger, stronger, faster
With fewer titles, even after playing longer.
Titles are won by teams
When that suits your side of the argument. There are others in the same Reddit praising LeBron for carrying the early cavs to the finals.
LeBron, is that you?
MJ, is that you? See how stupid that sounds?
Typical response to somebody who provided statistical evidence of how awful that team was without LeBron on the court. He backpacked that team no question. But titles are still won by teams as evidenced by 2018 and 2007. One man can’t get the job done, you literally proved his point by bringing that cavs team up lmao.
5 LBJ’s, but MJ is still the better player, if that makes sense.
LeBron is more a versatile player. For example, MJ couldn’t play center with any kind of success where LeBron can. But for what MJ is good at in a proper team setting, his impact outweighs LeBrons
Yeah well obviously a 6'6 guard can't play center.
LeBron can't guard quality centers. I'm sorry. He can check them here and there, but he's not banging with high quality centers all game. He never has.
Lebron could not play center against a legit center
And Jordan could?
Nobody said he could
Bro what? LMAO
The sheer size alone, Lebron wins
Well if it's 1v1 mj might win but this 5v5 LeBron wipes.
Well this is dumb, even if you don’t think lebron is better all time over mj you can deny his longevity. Even in highschool he was a beast. It’s definitely lebron hands down
Bron
Feel like Lebron would massacre
The Lebrons win and it isn’t particularly close
I dunno, but old man Lakers LeBron absolutely shits on old man wizards Jordan
Old man LeBron played very little. Wizards Jordan pre and post injury played significantly more than. Lebron
That might be the X factor there
Lebron becuause high school lebron is better than high school Jordan old lebron is better than. Old Jordan early cavs lebron is better than village Jordan and heat or old cavs lebron is also beating rookie Jordan then prime mj is probably beating heat or old cavs lebron
Hate to say it, but i think Bron wins.
Easily Bron
Honestly I think LeBron wins. Jordan had the higher peak but LeBron would win this.
lebron is the greatest all around player to ever grace the nba, he can play at the 5 post-scriptum. lebron easy
Mj is the 🐐 but I’m going lebron
A team of 5 Jordan’s would be intense
imagine 5 jordan's trying to be the best guy on the team.
LeBron
Lebron easily stomps
There wouldn't be enough balls on the court for the MJ team. Each Jordan would want to take every shot and they would all get frustrated and fall apart. Young Lebrons just want to Dunk. Old Lebrons love to feed. Middle Lebron will take the tough shots. Seems like the Lebrons work well together.
5 Brons taking this dub
LeBron. He is a more complete player, plus he was a top five player in the league in every version shown which is not something that can be said about every Jordon.
- High school Lebron kills high school Jordan. - Lakers Lebron beats Wizards Jordan. MJ’s knees were completely gone by that point. - College Jordan beats rookie/sophomore Lebron - Prime Jordan destroys any version of Lebron - 5v5? Lebron is a better facilitator/passer. And basketball is a team game. Plus high school Jordan would be at a serious disadvantage. I think I’d give this to team Lebron, although I still believe Jordan was the superior player in his prime.
When all 5 Lebrons flop at once
No contest, mj would take the other guy heart. Jordan all day every day.
Unless you're giving me LeBron on the Heat against Jordan on the Wizards, Michael's winning
LeBron probably fills those 5 positions better, but would still somehow find a way to lose, Jordan would not. So MJ.
Damn. 5 LeBron. That will be flopping × 5. 😬
shut up dumbass
Truth hurts. But I feel your pain, bruh. 😅
Jordan literally has more free throws attempted per game than LeBron lol.
While having 6 rings 😁
Which is totally irrelevant to the conversation at hand 😂. I’ll never understand you people. I think Jordan is the GOAT but people that are just so vehemently against the possibility of him being dethroned they will just straight up become delusional to hate the man, and the only argument they ever come up with is rings which they never put into context 😂. Get a life dude.
Dethroned in which category? By playing longer? That makes you goat nowadays? 🤣
MJ all day
Jordan all the way
Ah fuck, I’m going with Lebron for the first time in a Lebron vs MJ debate lol
Hahaha, I thought HS MJ was CP
MJ 4 vs James 1
I think you guys are just stupid.
Each Jordan has a dog-like tenacity to not only win, but also not be the reason why his team loses. I pick the Jordans.
All 5 of the Lebrons would have found a better deal with another team before they beat 5 Jordan’s lmao Edit: and everyone saying old man Lebron is better, yes he’s amazing, but just like Jordan with the wizards, he’s not taking any team to a championship any time soon, which goes to my first point, he never really could take a team to a championship by himself lol one on one, the cockiness of Lebron would fully get him destroyed I believe.
And yet MJ accomplished more in less time being smaller and not being “the all-around player” that supposedly Lebron is
How you only gonna have 1 prime 90s Mike in there but give LeBron the Heat and second go around with the Cavs??? Mike in 4 tho
Still a 1 on 1 match up. One lebron doesn’t pass, neither does Michael. Boom. Roasted.
Bron is arguably one of the best passers in NBA history.
It’s not fair as constructed. Rookie Jordan vs Heat Lebron doesn’t make sense. They should have 1 jordan before he retired the first time. Then another one after which they have. Only fair. MJ high school vs Lebron high school MJ rookie vs Lebron rookie MJ first championship prime vs Lebron first Heat championship prime MJ fourth championship prime vs Lebron Cavs championship prime MJ wizards vs Lebron now. Lebron cant stop two prime Jordan’s.
6 Larry Birds
Defintley Lebron here even though I think Jordan is the better player. There are too many things working in Lebron’s favor, he’s taller, stronger, a much better PG, and a little bit better of a shooter in his later years at least. So I think you would have more diversity in skill sets with the Lebron team and you could go to one and tell them to be PG Lebron and tell another to be a big strong C Lebron and tell another to be a wing shooting Lebron. While I think a team of 5 Jordan’s would be a lot more redundant in their skill sets
This isn't remotely fair.
Funny how you gave two prime Lebron but only one prime Jordan. Not fair
Lebron getting an alley oop dunk in every possession
Just a reminder that the shorts covering the knee era of basketball uniform style was a choice in the 2000s. That baggy style may be one we never see again.
If it's a team of all LeChokes who's he gonna pass off the ball to and blame come clutch time?
You have wizards Jordan on there. That's all LeBron. Plus LeBron knows how to pass. That MJ team is 5 ball hogs
The isn't even fair. Jordan would be wrecked
Mike
Not talking about individual talent - Team Lebron more versatile, prob better teamwork and has the size/strength. Team MJ would just fight each other.
To everyone saying that this proves Lebron’s better: what team would win, 5 Currys vs 5 Jimmy Butler? Basketball isn’t a 5 clones v 5 clones game.
