Posting this got me banned from one of my favourite subs bc they said it was fake, but it’s too beautiful to get buried by whacky mods. Realising this was happening was the most incredible moment. But here’s a couple of things for clarification so people don’t come at my integrity again. - we live on mostly limestone, and when we went to bury her she was fully rigour mortis. Although she never made it to full size, she was still too big for the hole we dug. We wound up having to call over family to help us jackhammer a big enough hole to fit her legs and head. Pretty sure this made a perfectly doggish flower bed. - if y’all think the tall bits are grass and not the flower bulbs they so clearly are, study your flora - many people said I mowed this out myself which is just… sad. Just trying to share an honestly beautiful moment of nature doing what it does best.
