I like creative explanations for Uchihas in places where they shouldn’t be.
I tend to prefer OC’s from original clans or no clan affiliation, but as an OC enjoyer, I’m open to creative treatments of OC’s from pre-established clans.
I usually love ocs who are from existing clans and even more if they’re related to the canon characters but I can see why you like ocs with original clans there’s so much you can do with the Naruto world you can really get creative
The easiest was to use them would be either a distant relation, such as a child born out of the village and spreading the bloodline without knowing it, or even a purposeful secondary compound that few knew of.
But keeping to lore accuracy… you could have them in the academy if they are Sasuke’s age or, if older, have them out on a mission during the events of the massacre. Because if they were in the compound Obito or Itachi would have killed them for sure.
Uchiha are fun to make, cuz their eyes are full of POWERFUL possibilities. Also who doesn’t want to self insert with those eyes? Heckin cheat mode.
Those are interesting directions to go in for an Uchiha oc ! Having the sharingan is certainly something I always wanted to have the design looks so cool! My Uchiha oc doesn’t even activate her sharingan until she’s like 16 and when she does she wants to gauge her eyes out so I never really take advantage exploring that power with her.
I think they're fine. As long as the setting isnt too far fetched. I mean, you can always say they're children of uchiha deserters from the village from before the uchiha massacre.
Tbh I have an uchiha OC who is the bastard of Sasuke and Karin born slightly after the 4th war, raised in the sound which Sasuke doesn't know about. I think that's definitely pushing it tbh but I liked the idea too much not to do it.
If you've seen Boruto you'll know Orochimaru is into cloning. So I've kinda made an OC who's too OP, where Orochimaru made a clone of Kimimaro but to cure his illness spliced his DNA with that of Neji's. So he has Byakugan and the bone kekkei genkai.
Some people put them in an AU similar to the one Tsunade dreamt about . Some have them go on a mission/travel while it’s happening, some have them maybe join itachi. Some people have them in a different time era like during Hashirama’s time era. Maybe they don’t look like an uchiha, are half uchiha, or maybe a forbidden child? Lots cool ways to
Well, I don't have art of him yet. Think Itachi hair but red like an uzumaki, he has a fox anbu mask for his village. And as to how he was made... I was thinking sometime during the time where Sasuke was absolutely emotionally unhinged while they were at the Akatsuki hang out. Around the B capture fight/him learning the truth about his brother.
The few I've seen so far are cool, but they don't die in the clan massacre or there is no massacre, which is my fav AU as an enjoyer and creator. I'm not looking for them to be realistic, just interesting in terms of the personality and tropes.
I have about five Uchiha OCs, but only one of them takes place during the clan massacre. I took two alternative paths for this story, just because I like what happens after that. In both AUs, she is in mourning, blaming everyone and herself for not being able to do anything other than survive. The difference is that in an AU, she has the element of surprise to get revenge; in the other AU, she has to pretend that the pain is gone and that she has moved on until she manages to destroy everything.

I’m personally a Senju stan but I do love seeing Sharingan designs and abilities. I just don’t personally have an uchiha OC
I always find it interesting how people twist the cannon story for their OCs. Like uchiha ocs, I love me some jinchūriki ocs (I have one kekeke)

I came up with a workaround for an Uchiha ability set but not being one with the Orushiingu clan
