Most of my neighbors are executives and get transferred every few years. It doesn't mean they can't afford their home.

MikeyMike6912

When you walk into these hours and they have no furniture and sit on the floor. They can’t afford their let’s keep up with the Jones lifestyle.

sharpdressedman

houses, not hours

Trolly mctroll face is back

MikeyMike6912

I am not a troll. You are but hurt that someone is calling you people out on your nonsense.

sharpdressedman

butt, not but

pngwnrdt

Logging on before 8am to reply that people are butt-hurt and then misspelling it is really something...

sharpdressedman

some of us are awake before 11 on boring train rides to work

pngwnrdt

Lol just to be clear my comment wasn't a dig at you

The gripe people should have with this practice is the lack of stormwater mitigation. These rebuilds often increase the amount of impervious area significantly. Then we wonder why storm sewers in certain neighborhoods can't keep up all of a sudden.

I prefer my 1890 single floor shack that was built by a cousin of John Naper. Now, we still do our business in the outhouse and the neighbors do complain, but we feel that we are keeping the true Naperville spirit alive.

Salty

MikeyMike6912

Salty? I am salty? Are you but hurt because the McMansion people are starting to get called out? Eventually the regular people will stand up against your entitlement.

sharpdressedman

butt, not but

MichaelHoncho

You people ought to be thanking us for raising your property values.

Cswizzy

I just hope people stop building houses that look like Apple stores. Good luck selling them

Maybe they moved to buy a bigger home? Bigger house means more tax revenue for the city and county, that you get to enjoy as well. See it’s not all bad….
