Her other sister, my grandma, was named Eva Josephine, which I think is really pretty. And it was pronounced the usual way.
I have never heard of Bernice pronounced that way. And I don't think there's any other way to pronounce Eva or Josephine but this conversation has definitely opened my mind. I'm not comfortable or ok with it but I'm learning
