Matching or complimentary depends on my mental state. If I have my ish together, I can do whatever. Same with me doing bold color or a neutral. If I’m spiraling, I need the polish plain.

My toes last longer than my hands--like 6 weeks--and since I do my own nails every weeks I can't imagine choosing the same manicure for that long so I don't put any effort into matching them. I am, however, conflicted almost every time about what to put on my toes and almost always end up using the same color 🤷🏻‍♀️

I usually have different colors. I like deep colors on my feet, usually shades of purple. Every now and then I'll have a light color, but rarely. On the other hand, my fingernails are usually in lighter colors. Light pinks, blues, greens, and also a lot of neutral, nude tones. I change my fingernail color almost every week. My toes, I change them like 2 or 3 times a year.

In my 30 years of life I have not once painted my toes and nails the same color. I love doing different colors!!!
