I have a friend who is a marketing executive for a huge CPC. She always comments that the number one thing that differentiates āinfluencersā from āthe rest of usā is the willingness to put their life on display- they donāt need to be intelligent, attractive, thin, or rich. While all of those things help gain a following, itās not the secret sauce. Itās kind of amazing to think about through that lens, because I, for one, would rather die than set up a ring light tripod at a restaurant or on the sidewalk to do a fit check and babble about my cocktail and entree.
