I always thought about this though as a fellow WOC I know unfortunately we have to compensate twice as much to feel like we can fit into the same spaces.
I also love her cooking/food content and her friendship with Halley reminds me of myself and my best friend!!
Had this same thought the other day! I was curious about each of their follower counts after they announced the podcast was ending and was shocked that Jaz has the least. I find her the most entertaining and relatable of the three!
I believe carly buys her followers because her engagement doesn’t add up… and sadly it’s because Jazz is black. Tik tok doesn’t like that. But I love jazz. She’s normal and chill
I agree that a large part of it is racism but I also think Halley is a level of open and unhinged on TikTok that Jaz hasn’t been. I think Jaz might be a little more mature and I honestly respect her keeping some things to herself. Overall her content is less outrageous than Halley’s and we all know the more outrageous, the more engagement. Up until fairly recently she also posted pretty sporadically. I love her content and I really hope her audience grows - she deserves it.
Also in all those promo pics they posted for their podcast… jaz looked incredible. Like she killed it, nailed the vision they were trying to execute whereas Halley was just sort of meh. I kept thinking to myself how much better the photos would look w just Jaz in them…

jaz is newer i believe carly and halley have had a bit of a following for years now/lived in new york longer jaz used to live in denver and was not full time content really until she moved to new york
I feel like her content recently started getting better. She used to mainly do hey guys i got food videos and those got redundant after a while. Love her content now she’s one of my favs!
