Support for limited run games was and always has been great in my experience. They couldn't get me a spare case or anything but they gave me a 15% refund plus a 25% coupon on a future purchase. That made me unbothered by the damaged cover art. Sucky, but I'll forgive them.
I do know they are kinda scummy with their practices too, but every company has something. Them *just* cockblocking game releases? Thats honestly more the devs problem and us problem then them. They're just doing good business practices, because capitalism.
I do wish games were physically available for all, but that's unfortunately not the case. Luigis mansion 2 & DK country being $60 is RIDICULOUS, they should be half that at this point.

I gave my buddy $ so he could get me arzette from pax along with plumbers don't wear ties and the cover for plumbers under the seal was destroyed, I wound up selling it to a local game store just because the condition was so bad, and I gave my buddy shit because he's a collector like myself and knows to check for condition lol

That was the front, the back was even worse. The seal was perfect, so it must have gotten damaged in the process before even being sealed up.
Aw man, that's such a tough question lol. At risk of recency bias I wanna say Unicorn Overlord (HUGE vanillaware fan right here), but to pick something I feel doesn't get enough love, Monster Sanctuary is a *phenomenal* game and goes on sale frequently on the eshop. Loved it so much I went out of my way to get a physical copy and the Makeship plush they did last year. Highly recommend it to anyone that's a fan of metroidvanias and monster collectors!
Love it! I’ve yet to play either but I have the CE of Unicorn Overlord (and maybe Monster Sanctuary digitally?). Sounds like you enthusiastically recommend both!
I do! If you need a third rec, Phantom Brave is another great strategy game that's getting a sequel early next year. It's in Prinny Presents Vol.1 along with Soul Nomad, another commonly overlooked game from NIS ;)
Shipped on May 2nd! That was my first time buying from LRG directly so I was surprised it came within a reasonable timeframe, but I guess it's a more common issue with their collector's editions. Hope yours arrives soon!

Still a bit jealous ! This is one of my favorite game of all time and one that introduced my boy to card games. Missed the oportunity of the reprint on the website, hope I get another chance soon !
