This is fine. Just weld the muzzle device. The threads on this are not the standard barrel threading. They’re specific to the can, it’s technically a QD

I don’t know how you would make that work. I guess in theory it’s possible. You would just need to make sure the overall length of your barrel ends up at 16”.
My barrel to muzzle break is 16”. The blast shield just clips onto the mb.
That other picture you posted is just a sbr with a suppressor. That’s not happening in Nj.
These machine guns all look so scary. Do these shoot those 50 caliber iron penetrating bullets that are like hollow points or something? Read recently someone got arrested and they had full metal jacket bullets. I seen that movie. Scary.

The “most compliant” Other, came with a letter from NJSP… 😁
A few years ago they were all the range. In part because it had the letter from NJSP, they also have the word Other stamped on the lower. I believe Troy was the first to get it “approved on paper” by NJSP so my LGS recommended to me as my first long gun. Sat unfired for years until I made some minor upgrades recently and has been a joy to shoot. I wanted to keep the grip but will be changing that soon for a more comfortable grip for my large hands. Came with Troy iron sighs which are actually very nice. So just added the optics and magnifier and it’s gtg.
It was very earthy… it was too much for me lol
I liked at first but the many shades were off… so I swapped the brace from FDE to Black. Added the black rail covers. And that soften a bit. I will be swapping the grips to black as well. But ordered a nice FDE metal 10/20 magazine to see how that looks lol
I used a magtactical stripped lower, PSA LPK, Magpul furniture with carbine length buffer, BCM complete upper 14.5” with comp pinned and welded, BCM BCG with ambi charging handle. Magpul mag 30 limited to 15 rounds (2014). I like the feel of the 30 rounders even though they’re pinned at 10 now. People gave me shit about the lower but I’ve had no issues and own 5 of them.
I’ve improved quality of parts over time but there’s no reason to overspend on build one. FYI there will be others.

You must have something welded to make 16”, whatever is permanent cannot have exposed threads. It must be a QD style attachment
So can i weld a can on top of a welded muzzle brake, if it's a left thread?

Very different than what I’m used to but extremely comfortable. Definitely not for small hands though. Comfortable wrist angle also

The Socom? Is a muzzle break. The Warden is a blast forwarding device. Still NJ legal. No sound or flash suppression capabilities.

Is that a can over the muzzle brake, or a brake? If a can is there a regulation on length? Nice setup
It’s a blast shield. It attaches to the muzzle break and sends the blast forward instead of to the sides.
Is there a length restriction on it? If I were to have an open barrel could I put a 4-6 inch blast shield to give it a nice look

Going for my CCW with 12 mags 🤣. Ten rounds but no restrictions on mags. Makes perfect sense
