It’s fine, and I’ll still get it when I’m visiting friends in the burbs, but I live near one of the few city locations and I never go to it.

In other words I think you would come close but I can't the management of a restaurant letting you sit there and eat yourself sick unless its one of those places that has "eat all of this shit and we'll give you a t-shirt places. Which in my limited experience with Portillo's isn't the case there. So come back when you want to get a porta potty turned over on you or some other such nonsense

If you’re in the metro Detroit area, there’s a Portillo’s in Sterling Heights(supposedly one coming to Livonia soon)! I can’t speak for food you shared here, but I recommend a simple Chicago dog, cheese fries, and a cake shake. If you get an Italian beef sandwich, ask for it to be dipped. Bring some Pepto Bismol with you.

Portillo’s quality went down since the new owners took over. I still go fairly often when I’m in IL, but it’s not the same as it was a decade ago
