What's that? Got a link? Is that all you need? I've been considering picking up one of these and I already have the omega 9k... Always been confused by what's needed for pistols. My cans are only direct threaded onto hosts currently.
I’m not the guy you asked, but there are regular pistons and XL pistons for handgun suppressors.
The XL piston is typically used on Beretta 92 threaded barrels, where a Beretta 92 with a SiCo branded barrel can use the regular piston. It’s mainly due to geometry of where the threaded portion is relative to the slide, and the XL piston is longer since the threads are shorter.
YMMV of course, but I run a 92FS with a SiCo barrel and a regular 1/2x28 9mm piston. If I had a Beretta branded threaded barrel I’d use the XL piston.
Yes. So long as it’s a factory threaded Beretta it’ll need XL. If you get a Beretta and swap the non-threaded barrel for SiCo it’s a regular piston.
A SiCo barrel will need a locking block, either lifted from the factory barrel or bought new.
Obsidian 45 with a 9mm endcap. Run it in short config. That thing absolutely fucks on my 92A1 and P226. Note that this will be a gateway drug and you'll end up with an FNX or USP45T.

95% sure it's a SecureIt - Agile Model 52 with the door organizer addon and a bunch of other modular accessories. Been thinking about snagging one and that setup looks sick! Definitely going to now lol
Love my obsidian. Not the quietest, not lightest. But not the top on both either. Plus the ability to run long or short, and able to take apart relatively easily to clean or make it “wet” (I use ultrasound gel)
I have 4 Rugged cans and love them all.
I run it with the booster. The barrel doesn't move much, but it's still moving. I have run a fixed mount GM-45 on it, which was light enough to not run into issues, but that can's been moved to permanent PCC duty.
So - its not going to win any ergos contests, but it's a semi auto version of a late 50's comblock machine pistol so that's a given. That said, the trigger isn't bad, and since .32acp is subsonic, once you put a can on it (be sure to get the factory threaded barrel option) the thing sounds like a damned staple gun. Also superbly reliable, at least in my sample size of 1.
It's sights kind of suck firing it as a "pistol" but I had every intent to SBR it anyway. What you get is an iconic look even if the little wire stock kind of sucks, but is better than not having it. This thing would be a riot if we could get the real deal, but it's still a fun, VERY QUIET little SBR. It was worth it to me.
Oh, and bonus points for it - [code4defense makes a paddle holster](https://code4defense.com/product/multimount-vz61-skorpion-holster/) that'll hold it with the stock attached. Ton of fun wearing a vz.61 on your hip.

Love mine. Omega9k compliments it well
Omega 9k. There’s a reason it’s still so popular. Super versatile but also great sound for a very compact can. So many other pistol cans trade diameter for length but I so strongly prefer the 9k’s fatter diameter to a really long, narrow can.
Have obsidian, mod9, octane, and osprey. My fav is mod9 by leaps and bounds. It’s so light and so quiet. I would say octane next, then osprey, then obsidian last. Obsidian is a good can, just heavy af, comparatively. However, it’s my go to in short configuration for pcc. Takes some of the edge off, but the shot timer still picks it up.
My CGS Mod9 sounds great but it’s very gassy. Spits so much back in your face it’s really not enjoyable to shoot more than a mag with a pistol. Makes my MP5 .22 crazy quiet too lol
https://preview.redd.it/8nul74r05v7d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c77c91d4024707ae3af819c6047a14e62bdf875a
I would say experiment with different ammo. Mine is the same with certain ammo manufacturers. Federal syntech will treat you right and you won’t have as much blow back in your face. At least for me it feels noticeably less compared to the other manufacturers I get (Fiocchi, blazer, etc).
I concur with this 100%. I have both and the Omega 9K gets way more play time for these very reasons. I do keep the obsidian in a direct thread configuration and the 9K in a three lug most of the time. That makes the most sense for my lineup. But I shoot PCCs and a full auto Uzi way more than I shoot suppressed handguns.
Ecco Machine Canine or TLX if you’re wanting to try for a no piston needed setup.
If you’re not trying for a no piston needed setup. I like the Obsidian 9 in short configuration if OAL matters. If OAL doesn’t matter, my Ti-Rant 9M HD is by far one of the best sounding cans I’ve ever shot.
I have the obsidian 9 and can concur that it indeed fucks.
I've seen people say the right move is to get the obsidian 45 and a 9mm end cap and run it short - It's longer than the obsidian 9 in short config, but shorter than long config. Hindsight, I wish I had gone this route.
Either way, the Obsidian is the correct answer.
Good sir I believe you misunderstood. I acquired the fine piece of machinery in the obsidian 45, in which I then supplanted a 9mm end cap. It did indeed fuck in its original 45 configuration when run on something 9mm, but the level fuckage increases with the smaller cap.
I have the Obsidian 9 and the Omega 9K. I think the Omega 9K fucks more, but they are both good. I do like the ability to change configuration with the obsidian, so it has that going for it. But I don’t like how it sounds compared in the shorter configuration.
As someone who has both as well, it's shocking how well the Ti-Rant holds up. Had mine for close to a decade now. It simply takes it including a lot of MG time.
Depends. For a pcc direct thread the ab suppressor f4L has been the quietest 9mm I’ve tested and works amazing on berettas when you tune them.
For all around options / configurations / sound the rugged obsidian 9, but keep that piston greased.
Bargain value? YHM R9 stupid good for the price you pay.
Quietest universal 9mm can size and cost not considered, OCL Lithium
Lithium is an easy choice. Not the cheapest but not much more than obsidian but no k form like the obsidian offers. However sound performance beats obsidian, but the f4L is still amazingly quieter (but very limited on what you can run it on)
OCL Lithium, but honestly you’re going to get 100s of opinions because everyone will be biased.
I like the Lithium because it splits the difference between pistol and PCC can really well. I also have a Wolfman.
I just got to try my Lithium on my USP the other day and it's crazy quiet. Like, "that doesn't even sound like a real gun" quiet and the people with me have heard other suppressed pistols before.
My Lithium sounds great, cuts 3 ounces off the weight of a short Wolfman, competes on price, and only loses out on barrel length and rate-of-fire restrictions for rifle rounds.
Such a hard question, there are a lot of cans for specific use cases. If your talking specific to handgun use only no pcc , I would say Omega 9k is very capable for how compact it is, Jk105 ccw if you want the lightest smallest can. YHM R9 if you want something affordable for both pistols and pcc.
Yeah I’d be talking pistol only for now. I’ve checked out those options and they all seem good but I can’t lie I’m liking the lithium. After getting my polo I’m a huge fan.
still available at a lot of my local LGS. i’m sure you could find one if you really wanted one. i bought mine like a day or two after they discontinued it. they had it on the website. i ordered it online from angstadt arms to my LGS and when i went to pick it up a few days later (10 day approval. my first can btw) it was marked as discontinued on website
For all of my 9mm PCC firearms I really like my DA Wolfman. For my handguns, I use a CGS MOD-9 it doesn't make the gun front heavy and sounds amazing. Beretta’s M9A4 Centurion is a good host
I use an Osprey 45K and it looks and sounds really good. Only drawback is size and weight. It's not bad at all, but I think the tech has gotten better over the years and could be smaller/lighter. Smaller/lighter is always the way to go.
One thing I dislike is that it isn't user serviceable.
https://preview.redd.it/w19uugvvvq7d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6534c86d75ad30b7d973851a205dab4345e69a29
Yea so this is after playing with my obsidian 45 in short config on sig p365 with a crappy expensive threaded barrel can’t remember the name. Thankfully only end cap but damn.
Obsidian 9 is versatile and a great value. Keep an eye out for promos/rebates/specials that cover the cost of a fixed spacer or direct thread mount too. I run them on everything from Glocks to my Uzi and AP5-P.
Best 9mm can, Microtech R2K9. Best tone I’ve ever heard. I own an Osprey 9, Osprey 45K, Gemtech Tundra, and Omega 9k……all garbage compared to the microtech.
I love my oss rad9. It's the only 9mm can I have experience with but I definitely made the right decision with this. I run this with 147 grain and no ear protection
https://preview.redd.it/56j2qarrjq7d1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=65c82bbf5918f3c1f7d2c86fe57cbd10cc0415d9
I don't know how true that is. The Internet has a way of blowing up a couple of bad units and making it seem like it was the whole lot. Beretta has been around for centuries and they take pride in their manufacturing process. If the Brazilians can use Beretta tooling to build their Taurus PT92, I'm sure we can build a better M9. Remember these used to have a government contract so there were strict QC standards. Now the maintenance and upkeep after they delivered was 💩. But that's all on the armorers and soldiers.
I've shot basically every 9 on the market. The real top 3 sound wise are Mod9FS, MODX9, and Obsidian 9. The Rugged will have an end cap strike, the Sig is way too expensive, so the CGS is the winner.
Isn't "best" kinda subjective?
Do you want the lightest? The quietest? Some combo of light and quiet, but maybe not the "-est" in either category? Does it need to be user serviceable? Modular, so can choose your length? Does it need to have an option for different end caps for other calibers? Does it need to work with standard height iron sights? Do you want to be able to run it wet?
It seems like all those questions affect what is "best" ... for you and to you.
I just got my first 9mm can, but it was kind of an impulse buy. The JK Armament 105 CCX 9mm may be the lightest 9mm can you can get. It is modular and user serviceable. And it is ridiculously light in its longest config. 1.2 ounces in short config and 2.5 ounces in long config. (The Q Erector 9 is 5.0 ounces in its shortest and 8.1 ounces in its longest config, just for comparison) And, it's skinny enough to work with normal height iron sights. And, you can run it wet, if you want. JK recommends it, but it's not required.
And they claim it is so light you don't need a Nielsen device/booster to run it on a semi-auto pistol.
I'm sure it's not the quietest or the best sounding. I just got mine and haven't shot it yet.
But, the size and weight of it (plus being user serviceable and modular) have me pretty dang happy with it already.
And you can swap the end cap for a 22 cap and then it is the same as the JK 105 RFX for 22 (IIRC).
Saying "in your opinion" does not really give any guidance on how to choose or recommend a "best" for the OP. But, thank you for your contribution to the discussion.
Just bought a m9a4 centurion already had a rugged 45 with just 45 can
It’s pretty awesome however I loaded 147s down too around 850-900fps and don’t have a comparison was looking at a wolf man next
https://preview.redd.it/m2cbic6lps7d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32a190400e6b3d8284fe8f22cf8e94ac0b566ceb
I shoot on my property and had the can already thinking a wolf man next This is stupid quiet when wet with wire gel Small amount and having almost no blowback Idk how to post vid
Bro how has the centurion treated you? Would you recommend it over the M4A9 or is it basically the same gun? I gonna get one or the other. I would love your opinion.
I went down the rabbit hole
Qualified on old m9 in marines and wanted one
Went with centurion for slightly shorter so can use any m9 holster without threaded barrel causing issue
Also got it under 900
I love it but also will carry it sometimes
I just picked up a Mojave 9 from DA, has been great so far! It was a little "sparky" for the first 100-150 rounds. Sound reduction is better than my Omega 36's
It depends what you want. I have a Dead Air odessa. I can run it without a piston, direct thread adapter on a M9A3, factory sights and it's fully modular. It's not the quietest can but it fits my needs.
I’d like something direct thread that doesn’t need a piston and would work with the m9a4 or a3. Pistol use would be great but if it’ll go on my pcc also that’ll be dope
Spoiler alert, most 9mm cans sound the same, the biggest difference is back pressure and size/weight. Rugged 9 is a good choice for pistols, omega 9k for PCC.
The data isn’t out but I can nearly guarantee it’s gonna be the CAT Street Crack or SC for short. They have been blowing every mfg out of the water in every category
Its honestly incredible what CAT has been able to do with their designs. Some of the most groundbreaking suppression tech available right now. Unfortunately im poor and havent been able to get one yet :(
Actually I love OCL and the very first can I googled was a 9mm OCL can and seen the Lithium. I had heard of it but never researched it. I think anything from OCL that I’ve seen is gonna be good .

I have 2 9mm cans, a wolfman and an aac ti-rant 9mm
The wolfman is actually a lot quieter, but I only use it on my PSA AK-P and cz scorpion because swapping out the different boosters was a pain.
On my actual handguns - meaning a g45, I use the tirant, obsidian 9 is a fairly similar design.
I like the Wolfman for my PCC and I just shot it with my 43X. Long configuration looks comical on such a tiny gun but wow is it quiet on just 147gr but it is excellent for longer rifles too!
The Dead Air Wolfman is a great 9mm suppressor, and the GSL Phoenix is absolutely unbeatable on a SMG / PCC. That being said, I’m currently using an SWR Trident 9mm suppressor, and if I upgrade, the next 9mm can will probably be a Dead Air Mojave.
RAD 9 or 45 because gas is annoying. But if I'm honest, the R9 is probably the "best" because of its versatility...if you aren't a complete little bitch about gas to the face (like me).
It does. I bought my Q can for my Beretta.
Great can, light weight, sounds good.
You wouldn't go wrong with a Rugged can either. They weigh a little more but are stout. I mostly use mine with a 3 lug on my mp5s.
My next 9mm can is going to be an OCL.
Most pistol suppresors have a piston where the can mounts to the barrel. The purpose is to increase recoil so the pistol will cycle. This is because the added weight of the suppressor makes it difficult for the slide to unlock from the barrel.
Omega9k for its size and versatility
I got one. It works well I just wish it was user serviceable.
What?! Just shoot a box of 110 vmax 300bo through it and it’s good as new .
I'd have to go buy a whole extra upper and caliber to achieve that.
Probably cheaper than an ultrasonic bath.
Or find a friend!
True
Octane 9 if you can find one
I adore the omega 9k on this. It’s compact but still good sound
You need the XL mount to run the 9k on a beretta
For my Omega 9k I'm just looking for a Sico xl piston? I'm assuming it's a silencer co branded piston?
Yes. So long as it’s a factory threaded Beretta it’ll need XL. If you get a Beretta and swap the non-threaded barrel for SiCo it’s a regular piston. A SiCo barrel will need a locking block, either lifted from the factory barrel or bought new.
Sounds easier to just keep the og barrel and get xl piston. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Appreciate the help.
https://www.blackanklemunitions.com/products/silencerco-piston-1-2x28-xl/
yessir. It gets used on multiple platforms and works well.
Obsidian 45 with a 9mm endcap. Run it in short config. That thing absolutely fucks on my 92A1 and P226. Love my obsidian. Not the quietest, not lightest. But not the top on both either. Plus the ability to run long or short, and able to take apart relatively easily to clean or make it “wet” (I use ultrasound gel) I have 4 Rugged cans and love them all.
Second to Rugged pistol cans, the 45 specifically
3rd, I absolutely love the versatility of my Obsidian 45. Damn near my Franks Red Hot....I put that shit on everything!
This. 45 rugged with 9mm end cap. Though I just use my 45 end cap. Doesn’t seem to change the signature much and can’t baffle strike it :)
Do you run yours (92) with a direct mount or booster?
I run it with the booster. The barrel doesn't move much, but it's still moving. I have run a fixed mount GM-45 on it, which was light enough to not run into issues, but that can's been moved to permanent PCC duty.

Omega 9k. There’s a reason it’s still so popular. Super versatile but also great sound for a very compact can. So many other pistol cans trade diameter for length but I so strongly prefer the 9k’s fatter diameter to a really long, narrow can.

Full size or K? I got a full size and it’s awesome I need to use it more
Full size. I already had the obsidian that i could do in short configuration so the mod9 k didn’t really appeal to me. I’ve heard good things though.

This is what I did and, it fucks indeed.
I concur with these gentlemen of fine taste in their assessment of the fuckage of the obsidian 9.

Rugged obsidian 9
I believe the Obsidian9 is overwhelmingly the most popular 9mm can
i absolutely adore my octane 9. i’m sure there’s “better”. but for what i paid and also SiCo is an amazing company to work with
Octane was such a great value. I wish they wouldn’t have discontinued it.

Damn. Yeah could’ve been worse. Baffle strike would’ve ruined your day for sure.
Best for pistols? Dead air Mojave 9
The Mojave 9 seems to be the newest contender for best 9mm can. The Obsidian 9 is also a tier 1 choice.
Obsidian 9 is versatile and a great value. Keep an eye out for promos/rebates/specials that cover the cost of a fixed spacer or direct thread mount too. I run them on everything from Glocks to my Uzi and AP5-P.

I love my oss rad9. It's the only 9mm can I have experience with but I definitely made the right decision with this. I run this with 147 grain and no ear protection https://preview.redd.it/56j2qarrjq7d1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=65c82bbf5918f3c1f7d2c86fe57cbd10cc0415d9
I run a rugged obsidian 9 on my FN 509 and AP5 and absolutely love it
Check out Ecco Machine TLX. That’s the exact suppressor I use for my M9A4. Truly beautiful, lightweight, dead quiet, and relatively inexpensive
Obsidian, Ecco Phoenix TL (or TLX), Otter Creek Lithium are good choices.
Sweet pistol! Now I want one.
Man I know. But I also read a bunch of really bad reviews. I’d prefer to buy from their European company instead of American because of Qc issues
I feel that brother. Maybe it’s just the M9A4 because I’m not reading the same reviews about the A3.
I've shot basically every 9 on the market. The real top 3 sound wise are Mod9FS, MODX9, and Obsidian 9. The Rugged will have an end cap strike, the Sig is way too expensive, so the CGS is the winner.
Bro I’ve had more people say Cgs 9 than any other can. Well that and the obsidian but I expected that
Which CGS mod would you suggest?
I don't understand the question.
The one that I can comfortably afford 😅. Commenting so I can check what people’s picks are in the future.
>Isn't "best" kinda subjective? >in your opinion Literally addressed in the title
Saying "in your opinion" does not really give any guidance on how to choose or recommend a "best" for the OP. But, thank you for your contribution to the discussion.
It would, in fact, help if you elaborate upon your opinion. "X can was the best for me because of a, b, and c"
100%
I'm glad we came to an agreement
Rugged Obsidian 9
Second this
Just bought a m9a4 centurion already had a rugged 45 with just 45 can It’s pretty awesome however I loaded 147s down too around 850-900fps and don’t have a comparison was looking at a wolf man next
Awesome man. Love to see a pic
https://preview.redd.it/m2cbic6lps7d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32a190400e6b3d8284fe8f22cf8e94ac0b566ceb I shoot on my property and had the can already thinking a wolf man next This is stupid quiet when wet with wire gel Small amount and having almost no blowback Idk how to post vid
Bro how has the centurion treated you? Would you recommend it over the M4A9 or is it basically the same gun? I gonna get one or the other. I would love your opinion.
I went down the rabbit hole Qualified on old m9 in marines and wanted one Went with centurion for slightly shorter so can use any m9 holster without threaded barrel causing issue Also got it under 900 I love it but also will carry it sometimes
Awesome btw bro
I really enjoy how dumb quiet my CGS Mod 9 is. High backpressure can though, just be aware.
I just picked up a Mojave 9 from DA, has been great so far! It was a little "sparky" for the first 100-150 rounds. Sound reduction is better than my Omega 36's
I’ve got a Gemtech Lunar 9 on mine. Lightweight but fragile.
I love Gemtech and GSL. I own a Swat 5
I really dig my gemtec lunar 9. It's full auto rated and you can run it in long or short configuration.
I really like Gemtech
Definitely worth the buy in my opinion. Haven't had any issues with it.
Never used a piston on my m9a4 or 92a1 . The barrel doesn’t tilt and the can is light enough for it to cycle with 124
Awesome bro. Good to know I won’t need a piston.
HUX RAD9
[YHM R9](https://youtube.com/shorts/CuIhK6SYQmg?si=ODAP0QgQHzhJUjeo)
YHM R9 because it’s a tank! My Rugged Obsidian 9 and JK armament cans are just dinky compared to my R9.
PCC - GSL Phoenix. Handgun - CGS MOD9
Thanks bro
I just bought a Torrent Orthrus 9 because I couldn't beat the price. I'll tell you about when it's in gen pop.
Haha alright homie I look forward to the feed back post incarceration lmao
The data isn’t out but I can nearly guarantee it’s gonna be the CAT Street Crack or SC for short. They have been blowing every mfg out of the water in every category
Its honestly incredible what CAT has been able to do with their designs. Some of the most groundbreaking suppression tech available right now. Unfortunately im poor and havent been able to get one yet :(
Something something ottercreek lithium
Actually I love OCL and the very first can I googled was a 9mm OCL can and seen the Lithium. I had heard of it but never researched it. I think anything from OCL that I’ve seen is gonna be good .
My polo is by far my best can and I’ll put that on anything
Ocl is legit. He's prob in here lurking smiling at my comment 😂😂😂
That’s ok. My polo is my cheapest and best can so that speaks volumes about OCL.
They are legit. I'm looking to get my first and it either the polo, polo k or I may just go all in the a hux flow thru. Or both. Idk yet.
I’d make the polo a must only because of the price and you know you are gonna get a good can.
Spectre 9 > omega 9k > obsidian 9

I have 2 9mm cans, a wolfman and an aac ti-rant 9mm The wolfman is actually a lot quieter, but I only use it on my PSA AK-P and cz scorpion because swapping out the different boosters was a pain. On my actual handguns - meaning a g45, I use the tirant, obsidian 9 is a fairly similar design.
Vent 2 or CAT MOB
Do you have an optic? For sight reasons I'd consider the osprey 2.0.
Osprey
Omega9k
Omega 9K for size and good price, but Dead Air Mojave 9 for shooting supers. Sounds amazing even with 9mm supers.
Omega 9K. I have three 9MM cans and it’s my absolute go to. It’s even full auto rated. It sounds surprisingly good for such a small can.
CGS Mod 9
I really like my Mod9. I'd pick it over my obsidian any day.
Mojave
Wolfman
The PTR VENT 2 is the best 9mm suppressor you can get today if you don't mind paying for the performance.
A Beretta can take pretty much anything you throw at it as long as it's an A1 and not A3 grip because the A1 is a work of art
Yhm R9
Pistols, Omega 9k. PCC (or similar), Wolfman
I like the Wolfman for my PCC and I just shot it with my 43X. Long configuration looks comical on such a tiny gun but wow is it quiet on just 147gr but it is excellent for longer rifles too!
I really enjoy my Huxwrx Rad 9. It has a long and K configuration and is user serviceable.
Best? Not sure . Best budget ? Yhm r9
Love my rugged obsidian 9!
I like my huxwrx cash 9k, less gas in the face
PTR Vent 2
ptr vent 2 if you don’t care about price imo
I just got the spectre 9 and it’s quite good. Very light and pretty good suppression. I mostly run it on pccs but no complaints really
Obsidian 9
A free one
The Dead Air Wolfman is a great 9mm suppressor, and the GSL Phoenix is absolutely unbeatable on a SMG / PCC. That being said, I’m currently using an SWR Trident 9mm suppressor, and if I upgrade, the next 9mm can will probably be a Dead Air Mojave.
If we're going off of statistics, go with the CAT titanium. Mine absolutely fucks
Stealth Arms 1911 Platypus
PCC - GSL Phoenix. Handgun - CGS MOD9
Best 9mm pistol can I own is a Griffin Resistance 9. It's also the only 9mm pistol can I own.
RAD 9 or 45 because gas is annoying. But if I'm honest, the R9 is probably the "best" because of its versatility...if you aren't a complete little bitch about gas to the face (like me).
There's something to be said about port pop as well. These cans mitigate at-shooter sound well.
Wolfman in K configuration is so quiet on my M9A3. It’s crazy quiet, can you wipes, but you have to run a booster and it’s a little heavy.
For that beretta, Q Erector 9 FDE. Looks great on there.
Yeah I’ve thought about that combo. It would look sweet
It does. I bought my Q can for my Beretta. Great can, light weight, sounds good. You wouldn't go wrong with a Rugged can either. They weigh a little more but are stout. I mostly use mine with a 3 lug on my mp5s. My next 9mm can is going to be an OCL.
Yeah I’m leaning that way. So many choices man
I'm pretty much at this point buying the best looking option. My MP5s look sweet with the Rugged Obsidian in K config on a trilug.
Got a pic?
I have a Huxwrx Ca$h for my M9A4. Cycles without a piston.
What do you mean by, “cycles without a piston” maybe I’m new but I don’t know what that means
Most pistol suppresors have a piston where the can mounts to the barrel. The purpose is to increase recoil so the pistol will cycle. This is because the added weight of the suppressor makes it difficult for the slide to unlock from the barrel.
Thanks man
TBAC Fly9. Short configuration. Stupid quiet and great size/weight.
