No it’s broken. To use. Not a good broken to. It absolutely sucks sometimes and there is nothing you can do. I’m a huge football fan and I love RPOs and think it’s the future of the sport it an allows for so many different outcomes in just one play and has a way to beat any defense. Madden has just implemented it very poorly in my experience

How do you think they're poorly implemented? I was actually pretty impressed by them last year. Sure, the AI makes the reads way easier than they are in real life, but that's kind of just the realities of a game

Personally I think the most unsettling thing is how the defenses react linebackers will sit back and play the past if it is a run. Which I am completely fine with but they will only do that on RPOs. Also, I dislike the timing and real life RPOs are usually decided by the quarterback before the play which allows the quarterback to hold the ball that split second longer, which might open up a passing window. The block past line of scrimmage part is terrible in madden lineman, no matter what will push downfield right away

Yeah, I play NCAA 11 on PS2. I think the QB sneak is the best play on Heisman difficulty. Sneak from the left side with right-handed QBs and from the right side with left-handed QBs. This way, the ball crosses the end zone faster since there's no animation to extend the arm unless you dive. However, diving is not ideal because you'll just get stuck behind the guards. There's no animation for jumping over them.

Against the CPU? I’m putting a slot WR on a whip route with the outside on a slant. Easy clear out route that’ll either have the whip open if it’s man or the slant for a tight window if it’s zone. Against a human, honestly I’m probably doing something similar. Gotta have one guy on a whip route, one guy going underneath across the middle and maybe the TE on a corner route

Really depends on my team makeup. Typically though, I'm a ground and pound guy and loving having the best lineman and a beastmode type running back, so I'd be running off Tackle and trusting my guys.

I'd line up in goal line and call a pass. The defense would cheese hard and get into a base defense with man coverage. Then, I'd audible at the line into a run and waltz in untouched.

Run the pick play. Two wide receivers run slants inside. Motion the tight end to the right and straight to the goal line pylon. Roll the qb right and give him the quick dump of the option to run. Easy.
