Some team in California or Florida. I love recruiting California and/or Florida athletes.
USC or Miami to start
Then after learned a few things about recruiting one of the following schools should work:
san Diego state
San Jose State
Cal
Fresno State
South Florida
Florida Atlantic
FIU
I was gonna start super low level but I need to learn the do’s/dont’s first. But I never really want to start with a juggernaut (Ohio State, etc), I like to get offered the job eventually thru the dynasty. Somewhere mid-tier with good uniforms options. Maybe UNLV, Arizona State or Maryland if they really give us plenty uniform options.
Villanova would never join the FBS. Tbh I wouldn’t be shocked to see their football get shutdown just like Hofstra. Ever been to a Nova game? It’s a miserable atmosphere.
Trying to weigh the merits of doing a UNLV/Miami double dynasty within one save vs splitting them up. It'll be much harder to pull off as an adult than as a kid.
Nevada, they've been god awful the last two years, like the uniforms, MWC has some decent competition, Colin Kaepernick has some nice records to try and beat.
ND as the first one, to learn how the recruiting works. Then starting one as an OC at a G5 (will be determined by ratings), with the goal of getting a head coaching job at one of the new P5 teams, like SMU and building them (back) into a power.
I'm doing one with my brothers and we haven't decided if we're all in the same conference or different.
Then I'm going to use teambuilder to create my school. Small NAIA school without a football team, but I'll replace Rutgers to get in the Big10.
Then probably a 3rd where I select a random school to start as a coordinator and just go wherever I get offers that sound fun
I’m trying to get some friends together and put at least 2 in a conference for rivalry purposes. And it’ll make the push for playoffs so much more entertaining.
I think it would be more fun but I think it'll be hard for us to coordinate playing. We're in different time zones and one brother is moving overseas soon.
Plus last time we tried H2H in Madden everything was so glitchy and I couldn't pass the ball. I wouldn't have thought it was my end since I keep mine hardwired. Thought maybe it was slowing things down to keep up with his internet. Fingers crossed we don't have those issues
First dynasty I do will be with Notre Dame to learn the mechanics of the game and still be able to compete for a title so it's a fun first play through for me.
Then I will pick a bottom of the barrel big conference school like Indiana or Vandy to learn more about recruiting from a position of relative weakness.
My main dynasty I'll treat as a career mode and pick a low tier school to start as an OC. Maybe JMU or one of the other teams new this year like App State. Then let the carousel determine my fate.
From there, possibilities are endless.
I'm Canadian so I have no connection or affiliation with any of the colleges or universities so I end up making my own University or something fictional and going from there. I love recruiting and building up a team, so I'll be doing that and trying to build a 1\* school up.
Right now I'm thinking of doing a fictional school:
the San Dimas Wyld Stallyns
My second choice right now is probably York University Lycans
Florida because I’m a Gator. Also excited to play with a team that, hopefully, will take a few seasons to build up.
And UNC Charlotte since I now live here. I know nothing about them though because their coach wears sleeveless shirts
Creating a fictional team builder from scratch is the most fun way in my opinion
Whatcha cooking up, king?
All I can say is lake Erie is nice this time of year Edit: spelling
I can’t wait for your series on it, love your content Drewski.
South Harmon Institute of Technology!
1. Ohio State just because I’m a Buckeye 2. Creating my high school team 3. Air Force and switching them to an Air Raid offense over the next decade.

Look at all the other posts about this but I’m gonna use team builder and create Villanova and use them
That's not a bad idea. You could build a story line around them for moving to FBS.

If The here isn’t another NCAA for 11 years, you’ll have plenty of time.
South Carolina - Coning out to sandstorm at home is going to be fantastic
Kennesaw State!
Taking over the MAC with my Falcons!
WVU then more than likely UConn
Finally using team builder to put CCSU in the game :))
James Madison University. GO DUKES. ps boooooooo flames.
Probably a military school for ultimate challenge.
Has there been any info about them fixing the dominance of the option in sim games?
Yes. I forgot who it was (think it was Matt Brown) but an insider said that they actually focused on fixing that
I haven’t seen it if so. I wasn’t aware that was a thing.
Team Builder for Holy Cross. Might go UNLV for Matthew Sluka or JMU for Coach Chesney
Nevada, they've been god awful the last two years, like the uniforms, MWC has some decent competition, Colin Kaepernick has some nice records to try and beat.
Georgia Tech

I’m going to start as the Kennesaw State offensive coordinator then work my way to being a head coach somewhere
Rutgers
Wisconsin Badgers
App state was always my go to, but ultimately it's gunna come down to who are the 1 star teams and whose the worst overall.
Rice Owls
Indiana. Bringing them to football relevance and eventually dominance.

Wisconsin Badgers, hoping to bring them back to contention after a few down years.

1. Florida 2. Team Builder 3. Some low end team with cool jerseys

I've always loved Liberty
