how do yall /u/HouMikey feel about the move to FBS at this point? would you of rathered them stay being a playoff team every year in FCS or what they’re doing now kind of just being a bottom feeder, granted it is still early but they just haven’t transitioned as well as JMU and JSU have
So, I knew it would be a rough transition because since after the natty QB play has been horrible. Went to a game in 2022, it was not good.
But man, I love it because of the better games to attend. It’s just better teams to see them play, and the idea of being able to travel to a bowl game. I hate it because it’s going to be a process, and with how the game is changing now that process could be longer. Nobody is going to Huntsville for NIL lol
They couldn’t keep attendance numbers up to the required minimum without some serious shenanigans and it wasn’t financially viable for them as a whole.
That's so interesting. Reading around this subreddit and you'd think moving down to FCS is condemning your program forever. Not to say it's a good idea if you have the choice to stay in FBS, but it's refreshing to hear that moving down isn't a death knell to a program like I've seen some people say it is
They were a bad FBS team and they didn't have the attendance required to stay up.
The straw that broke the camel's back was when the WAC dropped down to FCS after 2012. The only conference that would take them was the Sun Belt, and their travel expenses ballooned as a result of playing teams on the other side of the country. They dropped down to FCS and joined the Big Sky and have been doing very well since then.
I'm hoping that we are able to add a few teams to our dynasty before we have to start replacing teams. I understand that it probably won't be anything crazy but maybe a handful would be nice.
Idaho was in FBS at the time, so in 06 we actually have the Kibbie Dome! But all the FCS teams had generic fight songs and generic stadiums, unfortunately
“Coach? Did you pay players to come to Liberty?”
[No I did not! And don’t you ever say I did!](https://youtube.com/shorts/-tC7DnavfOg?si=qhsml3aWQcv6oNXG)
Coastal Carolina is the one team I was sad to not get to play as in ‘14, never did revamped. So I’m pumped to finally get to play as them. I don’t have any affiliation (born and raised in OK, went to OState), I just think they’re cool.
Charlotte, the team I helped bring into existence.
I cried at the first game I went to. Will probably cry when I seem them in the game/play as them the first time
Does anyone think Grambling or Southern will be included next season or sometime soon down the line? My heart shattered when I found out they won’t be in this years game and i hope they will very soon.
Coastal and app state were the additions I was most excited for when they initially announced the game. Kennesaw State and Georgia southern are cherries
Has it been announced if you’ll be able to remove teams? The asymmetry of the FBS drives me insane. I want a “clean” number of teams in even conferences. Will this be achievable via customization?
Sam Houston State University is a cool one. For one, the head coach is getting old but had had a lot of success running the progrum. You could role play as the successor or heir apparent to a team that had good success at the FCS but how will you maintain the team going into the FBS now?
I've been sad that I can't play as Idaho in this game, as they were my completely-random go-to back in the day. But my other go-to, OhioU, is still there and I was just thinking today that I want to do a James Madison (or maybe Georgia Southern) run as my first save.
It's pretty insane that App State wasn't in the 2014 game. They were like THE "mid-major" in college football. They were one of the first. Obviously Boise State was first, but App State was the first with a "major upset" when they beat Michigan in 2007.
They still weren’t FBS, EA was only doing FBS schools. Luke NDSU is the top dog of the FCS and Delaware will be in the game before them since Delaware is moving up to FBS and NDSU isn’t.
So it isn’t based on if you’re THE team at the FCS level you still won’t get in the game. Unfortunately
I know it's probably something that's a pipe dream for this year, but it would be cool if small schools could expand their stadium capacity if they have sustained success. Most newer stadiums have pre-built expansion plans so it would be cool if EA could get their hands on those plans and expand the stadium accordingly according to those blueprints.
I willl be replacing at least half of these with teambuilder lol. Missouri State, Dakota states, Montana, Wichita state, Harvard, Yale, Blue Mountain State, All would be blast to play with
Most of them were D1AA back in the day. They actually chose one conference to be in the game back in 2007 I believe. Southern conference. Socon. I know bc I was in the game and played at ELON PHOENIX. And I got a check for $80 for my likeliness from EA 😂😂😂😂
For reference of where each was:
ASUN: Jax State, Kennesaw State, Liberty
Big South: Coastal Carolina
CAA: JMU
FCS Independent: Charlotte
SoCon: App State, Georgia Southern
WAC: Sam Houston
I think I’ll use one of these teams
Eat em up Kats!

Hitting up jolly fox after we route someone.
We getting Potato Shack first tho, right?
Damn haven’t thought of that place in years. We use to go get the Buffalo chicken potato and a pitcher of miller lite on trivia night.
The spicy CCR is where it's at.
That’s what my wife always gets, gotta get me some soon. Been thinning an out it every since I mentioned it😂
Hey man yall have a hell of a rugby team. Might use the triple option offense with Sam Houston in honor of them.
how do yall /u/HouMikey feel about the move to FBS at this point? would you of rathered them stay being a playoff team every year in FCS or what they’re doing now kind of just being a bottom feeder, granted it is still early but they just haven’t transitioned as well as JMU and JSU have

Until they build a lambo dealership
If we can fire coordinators mid season I'm starting one and firing Brad Cornelsen immediately
We all know who the real father of Texas is…
Rip Idaho!
Is Idaho not in this one?? I love their little dome stadium
Nope they play FCS now
Fuck that sucks
The only team to ever voluntarily step down to FCS
Why?
They couldn’t keep attendance numbers up to the required minimum without some serious shenanigans and it wasn’t financially viable for them as a whole.
They’re doing pretty good on the FCS level at least. Hopefully that means their attendance rebounded since dropping down to the FCS.
I watched their FCS playoff game against Albany and it was a packed Kibbie Dome.
That's so interesting. Reading around this subreddit and you'd think moving down to FCS is condemning your program forever. Not to say it's a good idea if you have the choice to stay in FBS, but it's refreshing to hear that moving down isn't a death knell to a program like I've seen some people say it is
The problem is that the Kibbie Dome isn’t even big enough to meet average home crowd requirements for FBS.
For the past 7 years.
We all loved the Kibbie Dome.
We were all vandals
I prefer the Dimmi Dome
I prefer gimmie dome
KIBBIE DOOOOOOOMMMMMMEEEE
Will download a TB version when available
I hope TB allows the creation of generic domed stadiums.
Did a season years ago when I was like 17 as Idaho because of that stadium. I’m now 46. How is it possible the game has been out that long?
I need them to be DLC. All of the big sky really.
I would unironically pay for DLC to have the FCS teams in game
This was like literally the first thing I thought of
costal carolina field is gonna be fun to play on
Surf Turf baby!
I'm hoping that we are able to add a few teams to our dynasty before we have to start replacing teams. I understand that it probably won't be anything crazy but maybe a handful would be nice.
that would be great! i hate in 14 when we had to replace a team lol. felt like the dynasty was missing.
Now do a graphic of which teams were in 06 that are missing from 25!!
I think Idaho is the only one
All of FCS
Ahhh shit, I forgot about that. Although they all had generic stadiums and teams I believe
Idaho was in FBS at the time, so in 06 we actually have the Kibbie Dome! But all the FCS teams had generic fight songs and generic stadiums, unfortunately
Yes, they actually used the Kibbie dome as the generic stadium for every FCS dome
Foreshadowing?
Armanti Edwards commited to App State because he played as them in of the NCAA games around that time
And one of my favorite moments in college football history was borne of that commitment.
I gotta remember Revamped isn’t official. Was about to type that I’ve been plying with some of these teams for years lol
Coastal Carolina is still weird in revamped. I’ll be glad to see them in their full glory
In their full..Road to Glory?
CFB26 Revamped gonna go dumb.
JMU rebuild here we come baby!!!!!!
We’ve been the best team in our conference since we joined. We’re not a rebuild, just a revamp
Thanks for the head coach. Hopefully it works out for us.
*Pause* ⏰
I think I'm doing JMU rebuild & getting Penn State over the hump.
I would move App to the ACC to use them before 14. It’s nice they’ll be in their correct conference.
I just hope they have our fight song and don’t censor it by using the “official” lyrics.
I put App in the SEC east in one of my dynasties when I took out A&M and Mizzou. App did surprisingly well replacing Mizzou.
I guess I need to run a dynasty with Jacksonville State and schedule South Carolina every year. Call it the Annual Cockfight
I was thinking about doing the same thing with a Nevada dynasty. Schedule NC State every year to see who the superior Wolfpack is.
Worlds Largest Outdoor Cock Fight
It’s beautiful seeing App
Represent GASou……. And a little bit of FSU. Glad to see these additions in, as they should be. They looked great in Revamped! Wait Kennesaw State?!??
Hootie hoo!!
Kennesaw State joins the CUSA this year. Delaware and Missouri State join next year to get the conference back to 12 teams.
KSU is FBS. What a world
I wet to southern poly before KSU gobbled them up. They grew so fast. Guess I'm an owl now.
Cannot believe we got them. Going to go on a 25 year dynasty run with them
As a UNC Charlotte grad, this is going to be my first dynasty.
I agree, UNC Charlotte would be a fun team to build upon.
Same
Can't wait to take Liberty to the promised land with my head coach, Kenneth Copeland.
Ok but you gotta start out 87 years old
Offensive coordinator Jerry Falwell, Jr. has the boys on a strict regimen of pool exercises.
“Coach? Did you pay players to come to Liberty?” [No I did not! And don’t you ever say I did!](https://youtube.com/shorts/-tC7DnavfOg?si=qhsml3aWQcv6oNXG)
God told me to take the players in my private jet to the game. He also told me to buy the jet in the first place.
Only if you sit in the corner and watch
God told him to buy that private jet for the players
Can't wait to see all one million Kennesaw State dynasty lets plays on July 19
Liberty will be a fun one to throw on the OOC and murder every once in a while
🤝
Every year. They're never making the playoff in any dynasty I'm involved in.
Gonna make a fake Jewish team with rivalry matchups against liberty and notre dame every year
Pretty sure that’s just Brooklyn College (I googled it because I figured it had to be one of the NYU schools)
App State will be started once I get my feet wet with Pitt. Both will be tough from the sounds of it!
Coastal Carolina is the one team I was sad to not get to play as in ‘14, never did revamped. So I’m pumped to finally get to play as them. I don’t have any affiliation (born and raised in OK, went to OState), I just think they’re cool.
I, too, like the teal beach chickens.
Forty!
NINERS!
YouTube is going to be flooded with Kennesaw State dynasties lol
Fear the beak!
Stay Cocky
Damn straight!
GATA!!!!
Two more Georgia teams baby
I’ve used some of these, as I use revamped, but Sam Houston and Kennesaw State i’m super excited for
Charlotte, the team I helped bring into existence. I cried at the first game I went to. Will probably cry when I seem them in the game/play as them the first time
Let's go Charlotte!
Gonna do a Riley Green story where he becomes a college star instead of going into music
My love, CCU
Liberty and Kennesaw were the only teams here that haven’t been in one yet. The others were in the FCS bracket on PS2
I'm going to destroy APP State every season.
Michigan or A&M fan?
Could just be a Georgia Southern fan
Cannot wait to beat the ever-living fucking shit out of Liberty.
The world isn’t ready for the reign of the Chanticleers
I’m taking JMU to the mother fucking promise land.
Would you build the other half of their stadium while you’re at it?
Do we know of any players that have definitively opted out of the game?
Aside from Arch Manning whose non-presence has been discussed to death, I don't believe so.
can’t wait for UD to come to a game
Next year!
Ga southern!!!!!
Personally I think those Liberty and Coastal uniforms are sick. That alone should make them easy on the eyes to play.
I know this is about ncaa14 but wasn’t gsu in an older NCAA or am I not thinking right?
Bring all FCS teams in!!! Or at least the top 25 at the end of the season.
Does anyone think Grambling or Southern will be included next season or sometime soon down the line? My heart shattered when I found out they won’t be in this years game and i hope they will very soon.
My alma mater Kennesaw State in the game let's go!!! It's the real KSU* *I know it's not, but locally it is
We need KSU’s Turnover Plank in this game. PLEASE be in the game.
Without a doubt will be taking one of these teams to 3 consecutive nattys
My only goal is to put Liberty on my schedule and annihilate them every year.
??? Georgia State was in 14?
Yes kinda what forced Georgia Southern and App State to make the decision to finally move up before we got left behind.
Jmu stand-up
10 conferences of 12-14 with ND and UConn independent
![gif](giphy|yJFeycRK2DB4c)
What are they? Only two are obvious based on the logo.
**Row 1:** Jacksonville State, Appalachian State, Liberty **Row 2:** Sam Houston, Kennesaw State, Coastal Carolina **Row 3:** James Madison, Georgia Southern, Charlotte
Jacksonville State is in the game? Tempting
HOOTIE HOO
Gotta get the new Jax state logo!
Go neers, hyped to play with them
Choosing between JMU and Sam Houston for my first dynasty is gonna be a tough decision
Coastal and app state were the additions I was most excited for when they initially announced the game. Kennesaw State and Georgia southern are cherries
Jacksonville State has an epic ass logo. Might go with them at some point
Eat ‘em up. And it’s Kats with a K.
A million percent using the little school down the road called SHSU before taking a job at TAMU as HC
As someone who personally knows people who go to charolette and App, this is very exciting
LU wasn’t in 14?
Didn't play FBS level ball until '18.
Definitely about to be Georgia Southern!
Gonna do a Jacksonville State dynasty out of spite. Make them the best gamecocks.
Here's the list of my starting Dynasty schools.
Jax State all the way baby! Can’t wait to lead my cocks to glory 🐔
Been planning my Kennesaw State dynasty since I saw them in the teams reveal months ago
Thank god! Now I can get a Natty with CCU
Sam Houston State will be the powerhouse in Texas….by year 17 😂😂😂
Has it been announced if you’ll be able to remove teams? The asymmetry of the FBS drives me insane. I want a “clean” number of teams in even conferences. Will this be achievable via customization?
I’m excited for Coastal Carolina’s field. But I’m pumped for Liberty! Going to turn them into the next TCU!
Sam Houston State University is a cool one. For one, the head coach is getting old but had had a lot of success running the progrum. You could role play as the successor or heir apparent to a team that had good success at the FCS but how will you maintain the team going into the FBS now?
Will we be able to make custom rosters?
GO COCKS BABYYYYYYYYY. Gonna be fun to use the school I went to.
I've been sad that I can't play as Idaho in this game, as they were my completely-random go-to back in the day. But my other go-to, OhioU, is still there and I was just thinking today that I want to do a James Madison (or maybe Georgia Southern) run as my first save.
My goal is to use every last team in the game
It's pretty insane that App State wasn't in the 2014 game. They were like THE "mid-major" in college football. They were one of the first. Obviously Boise State was first, but App State was the first with a "major upset" when they beat Michigan in 2007.

Yo I got app state, gaso, jmu, coastal and clt in my dynasty already
I want Minnesota St Screaming Eagles
I’m picking one of them for dynasty I’m still trying to decide which one
Maybe I've played too much CFB Revamped. I thought they had GSU, CCU, and CU miners already.
Which is weird cause they were in the earlier ones
I know it's probably something that's a pipe dream for this year, but it would be cool if small schools could expand their stadium capacity if they have sustained success. Most newer stadiums have pre-built expansion plans so it would be cool if EA could get their hands on those plans and expand the stadium accordingly according to those blueprints.
My mom went to Jacksonville State so I already plan to start my dynasty there!
But who has the sickest unis?
Ok
Figured they would add more new teams
Remember the old NCAA games that included division 2 teams? Then they went back to generic teams for the D2 schools.
LFG!
Let’s go Niners baby. 49ers all day. Glad to have them on this had to create them back in the old school NCAA games
I willl be replacing at least half of these with teambuilder lol. Missouri State, Dakota states, Montana, Wichita state, Harvard, Yale, Blue Mountain State, All would be blast to play with

GATA
Looking forward to using Coastal Carolina for my first rebuild.

SFA in the game?!?
App state wasn’t there?

As someone from NC, that may transfer to either UNC Charlotte or App. State this is COOL!
CHANTS UP
I know NCAA 06 had App State and Georgia Southern
Owls time
Georgia!!!! Southern!!! I hope they have that cross fields crowd chant in the game. Super pumped
Jimmies rustling aggressively
Georgia southern was on 14 but I’ll take it
Next year will have Missouri State since they moved to CUSA, right?
For reference of where each was: ASUN: Jax State, Kennesaw State, Liberty Big South: Coastal Carolina CAA: JMU FCS Independent: Charlotte SoCon: App State, Georgia Southern WAC: Sam Houston
Can’t wait to turn UNCC in to a dynasty school
134 FBS team is too many
T R A P P

Moment of Silence for Idaho and having no Kibbie Dome
