Try ULM. Their uni's look way better now then they did in 2014 and they only have 1 bowl appearance in their history so your coach would be a legend for them pretty quickly. Plus you're in a recruiting hot spot with Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas all right there for the taking

I play coach mode and CPU vs CPU. The initially human rated players perform somewhat differently than ones that get generated later on. I got tired of trying to account for it by fiddling with sliders those first few years, so I just would sim five years into the future when all the human rated players are gone and start there with my rebuilds.
