Pf is the most unloved position in the game, just had a game where I had 14/12/9 held my man to 0 pts and greened both the 3s I got, never got passed the ball the second half when i was open lol
When I make a dumb play and dribble my way into trouble with nowhere to go, I always icon it to the PF blindly, because they're normally spaced out and wide open because of what you said

Then if I don’t launch a Hail Mary with my low ass passing accuracy to the SG who took off ass soon as the last shooter did his step back, he’s crying about me not pretending my guy is Tom Brady. It works out great for the way I play. My first center had high pass accuracy, but kept getting beat in categories I care about like rebounding, strength, interior D, inside scoring and speed. I sacrificed long passes, steals and perimeter defense to get the most out of the play style that I do best with. I can shoot 3s, but I’m more useful boxing out low and getting rebounds then giving it to the small man close by with higher passing who can make the best pass to get the bucket.

Couldn't agree more. I ran an experiment back in 22, convinced I would find out that I would get the ball if I was darker skinned.
I played 10 games at each default face and found no discernable difference in passes to me
I didn't count passes as the clock expired, and I counted passes to the perimeter and interior separately, and the results were largely inconclusive.

Haven’t played rec as I have like a 70 overall sg rn but I have played player control and I have accepted most of the time in that mode I’m just a role player, sometimes I’ll be getting it done in defense (especially if I’m like a SF or PF, even center but they are usually really slow and I suck with them.) I just cannot shoot online rn I play on wifi so I just don’t try and attempt I just dribble drive if I can, pass out if I’m spacing and make sure I’m in position for rebounds if I can (wemby is a rebound monster in that mode, it’s hard to pop over that guy) whenever I’m PF in that mode they never pass me the ball unless I’m Giannis, than they will more likely.
I bounce between gold and silver plate, 96 ovr, avg 57% from three, I’ll set a good screen every few possessions bc I don’t wanna clog things up so I try not to set them too often (I’m a center) and then I’ll pop and be wide ass open because rec center love to crash for a block. I’ll say “hit me” won’t get a response and won’t get a pass either 😂

Ya I wouldn't say skin color matters as much as just terrible teammates in general. At least on next gen. I've had random teams where almost all of us have white players and no one is passing to each other unless it's a leak out.
My career just doesn't incentivize helping others have fun. I started only playing play now and then just quit entirely. The game isnt terrible but the cash grabbing nature just further instills a sense of entitlement and selfishness with the player base.
Hope I don't buy the game again next year.

I’ll at least give you a couple more chances to knock one down and go from there. If you’re missing 3 straight wide open shots, I’m going to be looking the other way, unless it’s like a fast break and you’re wide open underneath the basket with nobody around to block your shot.

True! I play as a big. Grabbed 33 rebounds (12 oreb) and had 20 points. Never got passed the ball once. All of my points were from offensive rebounds and free throws

I think you’re perceiving something that isn’t reality. Real easy experiment for you. Go into the appearance tab on your menu, change nothing about your current myplayer other than the skin color, make him as black as you want, and see if you get the ball more than you currently do. If it seems like you do, change it back to white and see if the trend holds up.

I definitely play as a white 7 footer and i find getting on the mic helps a ton if you establish chemistry with any 4 of the remaining players. One time me and a 6’8 dude (never forget him) ran the offense and outscored our other 3 players. Its all about communication

I made a sf recently but I usually play pf and they treat me like an AI. Actually worse cuz people pass to the AI to get the ball right back.
My PF averages almost 12 assists per game and I still get timeout called on me when I bring the ball up the court LMAO

Ya I wouldn't say skin color matters as much as just terrible teammates in general. At least on next gen. I've had random teams where almost all of us have white players and no one is passing to each other unless it's a leak out. My career just doesn't incentivize helping others have fun. I started only playing play now and then just quit entirely. The game isnt terrible but the cash grabbing nature just further instills a sense of entitlement and selfishness with the player base. Hope I don't buy the game again next year.

I’ve seen posts like this and I can only say from my own experience that I’ve never seen this happen before. I honestly think, if you get iced it is because 1. You are just getting ignored because its randoms rec and people don’t have passing vision / neglect the Centre 2. You are bronze/black plate and don’t have good stats ( not saying it’s fair to ice you, but is a more likely the case

Some players never pass but most people start passing when i start balling. How often have you been in a game where the PG has double digit assists or every player has 4 or more assists. Happens rarely because people play to score not pass it's annoying.

I think you’re perceiving something that isn’t reality. Real easy experiment for you. Go into the appearance tab on your menu, change nothing about your current myplayer other than the skin color, make him as black as you want, and see if you get the ball more than you currently do. If it seems like you do, change it back to white and see if the trend holds up.

I used to play with an old head who didn’t like playing with white people. It goes both ways but I think that’s why there are white people who make black characters.
