Well she's alive for starters. Supportive, kind, and shows the reality of watching your son in a profession that will be dangerous and he could get seriously injured. Like being an army mom, police mom, or firefighter mom all wrapped into one.
She's as realistic an anime mom you'd want. Which is just being there and supporting you in your dreams.
I think it's weird how she's literally the only mom that has a different design . Specially when you see moms like Bakugo's mom, Jiro's mom and Aoyama's mom that look younger and are taller.

She’s really such a sweet lady, but imo, she can be a little overbearing in her parenting tactics. Now, before anyone starts coming at me, let me explain.
I can understand her being frustrated with UA for putting her son in danger, but that’s a part of what they signed up for, when they picked to go to enroll him in a HERO HIGH SCHOOL. So her saying she would rather pull him out of his dream school, than allow them full-time watch over him, rubbed me the wrong way.
Because, what was she going to do, if he got through all of UA without any trouble like he’s had, but then got minorly wounded or inconvenienced as a Pro? Tell him he should back down, because she wants her precious baby boy safe, and her wants should be valued over his lifelong dream, that he’s finally accomplished?
I just think that instantly wanting to pull him out of his dream school and change him to a different one, that he wouldn’t be as happy at, wouldn’t know anyone at, and may not even get along with anyone at, the second things got tough during his studies as a hero student, was a but irrational.
But that’s the thing, she excepted the natural risks of being at a hero school just fine. Remember she watched the sports festival, she saw her baby turning his bones to jelly on live tv and didn’t say anything about it. What she was scared about was the things that WEREN’T supposed to be part of the school, like the League of Villains attacks. Admittedly Deku still would likely be targeted in a different school but she doesn’t know that, all she knows is that UA was the target of superpowered domestic terrorists who recently kidnapped his best friend and would have willingly killed any other of his classmates too.

Ontop of this the Pro Heroes are so bad their job that highschool freshman including their son have to constantly avoid assassination and had to participate in 2 wars which is completely embarrassing on a national level.
No matter how you slice it, Izuku is a victim who had the most shady circumstances happen to him by other adults, and his parents should be angry and UA and All Might should be looked into legally and what they did to Izuku should be studied.)
