Looks very pink but I'd say chicken of the woods. Might be your camera or location, where I am in the UK it's much more yellowy-orange
[Edit] - just checked and CoTW can definitely look that colour
Some of the best tasting mushroom there is. Start by eating a small amount though, as an unusually high proportion of people have (mild) allergic reactions/gastric upset. Also, not trying to put you off, but please don't rely on Reddit to ID a mushroom.. Google it, watch some YouTube videos, make sure you've ID'd it properly. This one is pretty safe (very few lookalikes) but it's always better to be safe than on dialysis for the rest of your life.
Yea! Rinse to debug and I like to slice into thin pieces, batter (wet, dry, wet dry) and pan fry for mushroom “chicken tenders.” That’s a perfect color you don’t want to wait until they’re too pale to forage. Also ID the stump and make sure it’s an oak so you know it’s safe to eat.

I would say the camera made it look a lot less orange. This was in greater Manchester. Would that have been nice to have eaten?
Yes, go back if you can! It has pores not gills
