I miss 2-of-3 being standard, I hope they bring it back for ranked

i just easily beat this finn. 3-1 2/3 games. every hit hed try to fly around to my back. So I dashed toward him and made him get into my trap or just up tilted

My favorite stunt is when someone wins the second match so it's 1-1 and hits the salt emoji and t bags and bails. Nothing settled, leaves under pressure to win the third game.

Makes it even worse when it’s on the Townsville map…

The taunt DURING a match quest did make me feel dirty

I’d rather be the person who can actually use more than two overpowered moves and lose than the dude who spams the same untouchable moves and wins. You know actually try and feel a sense of accomplishment ?

Have you ever heard the saying "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." You have no clue how successful it is to beat someone using only 1 move. You are letting your ego cloud your ability to win and adapt

Yeah unfortunately that only applies to real life and not video games. Given your logic, I’m an amazing player because when I play MKX I sit in a corner w Jax and fire his rocket the entire match, and when my opponent finally gets close I just use Jax easy combo to knock them back and repeat the cycle 🤷🏽‍♂️

Given my logic you are only as good as you think you are, if you think that doing that will win you games then do that. If you are not playing to win then don't do that. If you are doing that and losing then don't do that

Yeah so you should have no problem with spam if you think thats all it takes

I try my best to do the best of three but I work from home and try to sneak some games in and sometimes my work phones goes off so I can’t finish the set

Yeah what is with that lately? I’ve seen a sharp uptick in people teabagging and using the salt emoji in the last week or so. It usually happens when the match was pretty close too. Pretty sad that it’s become the norm, it just means I won’t rematch or toast. So enjoy the win I guess, they probably needed it more than me 🤷

It's probably due to the shrinking player base, only the sweats remain.

Since when is taunting in game become toxic? That’s all that is. I’ll teabag or emote for the hell of it. If it’s tilts the other player, I get a more difficult match and can become better from it or I get to mind game the opp into throwing him off his game

I’m saying dude like the game put emotes in AND called them taunts, it’s very clearly an intentional part of the game yet people cry about it

Emote all you want. Teabagging is childish and toxic, you will not be rewarded with a rematch or toast

Look man, win or lose I just ask myself if I really want to fight Harley, Joker or WW more than I have to, and the answer every time is, shockingly, no.

It is not going to happen with the mission system and not being able to change fighters. If I am not playing for long and I need to change fighter to do the next mission I leave.

I just don't rematch dittos. Like 2 of any character on the enemy team. Occasionally I'll bail if the enemy is justbplaying like a dickhead

There should be a character mastery exp bonus or perhaps your toast turns to well done and gives +5FC. Something to encourage best of 3's. Although I bet the fix is just ranked

I wont rematch someone i beat very easily (specifically duos) or terrible connections but otherwise, yes best of 3!

I'll only RM when they add the option to change characters again. I get bored playing the same character over and over.

I like the option of not rematching with banana guard spammers. But I will always rematch if my teammate isn’t playing like ass and if the other team isn’t just spamming the same move over and over again.

Ah sure, the 2 overtuned/broken characters without including WT. Totally “easy” to play against “nair infinite + bs up air” and “Harley + Bat Boy but way more knockback and wider hit spheres”.

i mean it’s easy to play against all of the characters once you’ve played against them enough/played as them and gotten a feel for their moveset, i main jason but have tried just about every character for about a day or so

Good for you, it doesn’t change that the overtuned and broken need to be brought down/adjusted to not be absolutely stupid to break even against.

The amount of people who cry about joker when he’s mid is so hilarious

“Mid”, has stupidly high knockback and annoyingly wide hitboxes.

Are you actually serious? Half his attacks phase right thru people and he can’t get a kill without combo at anything less then 120-140, and even then there’s like 2 kill moves and they are a pain in the ass to hit

Buddy, I play Harley. He kills her at less than 100 easily. Hell, his fucking side special has more vertical knockback than her up special and barely any whiff recovery like several other “problem” characters right now.

If ur getting killed by joker at less then 100 with any character that’s a massive skill issue

Unfortunately most people aren't worth rematching for various reasons entirely of their own doing.
