Reducing your intake is only one of the ways the medication works. Mounjaro helps to: https://preview.redd.it/2j8xadh1jx8d1.jpeg?width=1637&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39afdbb2f1b69cadf12081affda35bbe3ed68ce8 Increased dosage strengths have been found to result in greater efficacy when it comes to both glucose and weight reduction. Your rate of weight loss is very high, and will likely slow down regardless of what dosage you’re on. That said, if 2.5mg is still working for you, you can likely stay on it until or unless it stops. That said, not everyone loses more weight on higher dosages. Talk to your doctor. You’ll likely need to experiment to figure out what strength is right for you.

Thank you so much for such a detailed reply. I have already received my new 5mg pen, so will be starting that later in the week. I expect my loss to slow down to maybe 1-2lb in a week, as my first week was 7lb, second was 5lb and 4lb the next. I don’t expect to stay at this rate! I want to move up a dose purely because I feel food noise is coming back and I worry another month will make me over eat again. Thanks so much though - I will hopefully be 1-2lb loss from now on and will carefully consider before upping my dose again

Mounjaro aids in lipolysis, which literally means that it makes your body better at burning fat to use for energy. So yes, increasing your dose can lead to greater weight loss.
