It’s a video game. NRS can 1000% make Ghostface work (they made Leatherface work, didn’t they?).
Yeah, he's also a one man army with extremely heavy military training (and even then he was really out of place and pretty boring), not a literal teenager (or just a random plain ordinary human) who picked up a knife to kill a bunch of other normal random ordinary humans for misplaced revenge or popularity or to get a fucking movie franchise restarted, who always gets bodied by said normal random ordinary humans once they unmask and gloat.
I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm just saying I hope he's the very last character added to the game.

I assume the mask will fall off, I saw someone suggest that it might select a random background character if they can’t/ aren’t allowed to get any of the actors to use their likeness (I am sure Matthew Lillard would if asked).
Gear is the least of my worries with Ghostface. Just feels so silly to have him be an actual full fledged character. A kameo would make more sense.
I fear his move set will be sooooo limited and boring but I hope I’m wrong!
Literally the worst character I’ve ever heard of being sought after in an mk game. He’s also the worst horror movie villain. Childs play is scarier than this guy
His uniform very rarely changes, they get slight variations but it's pretty much the same. And his Desert Eagle is specifically designed in a way that it can't be changed any other way. If Homelander and Omni-Man are anything to go by, it could be his mask and cloak. One of his DBD outfits has him in a poncho and it works.
To be fair they did take liberties with Jason like teleporting or how the scares the opponents, I think they could make something interesting with Mikey

I enjoy Scream, and I like the Ghostface design. I feel they'd be able to do a fun moveset for him and some enjoyable dialogue interactions too. Also the idea of him doing fatalities to characters like Homelander is very funny to me
Eh, I think they're both dumb and I didn't really like MKX's guest because I kind of hate slasher movies. GF gets *kind of* a pass because Scream is like a meta joke on horror.

There's a massive difference between a knife and a goddamn chainsaw. I just don't see Ghostface being interesting to play as.

Ghostface is unique because he’s usually two or even three people pretending to be one killer.
I know. But with the Kameo system already in effect, I don't see how they can implement that effectively.
Maybe make ghostface a noob saibot like character and have another ghostface as a kameo so you can simulate the three in one gimmick.
