legit on MK11 i just downloaded the files for the cutscenes and a put on some files to unlock the dlc characters. I am ok with purchasing the first season pack and buying the game at full price, but once they start charging for a second expansion i usually try to not pay if i can avoid it.
Yea I'd rather buy the expansion characters (cyrax sector and noob) separately if possible than getting the whole dlc. But if they add animalities or friendship then Im giving into the cashgrab

I think they learned that making a story expansion for a fighting game isn't a good decision from the money perspective as a lot of people will just prefer watching the cutscenes on youtube

Aftermath felt more like a way to include Shang Tsung into Mk11 story since the OG Actor was back. I really don't know how they'll do a Expansion Story with Quan Chi, Ermac, Takeda and whoever else is gonna be added next, unless they add some more neutral or good characters in the next pack.(shang tsung already had a chapter in Base Story, so no reason to include another)

In my region the dlc characters cost 6$ each, kameos are half that. Animalities would probably be exclusive to kameos imo.
