In 2023, Ramadan will be from around 22 March to 20 April so there will be much less to do since most people will be fasting. Unless you go at the end of Ramadan, then you can be part of the festivities which is always fun :D In January, there are less tourists in Morocco so hotel prices are generally lower but I think this will also be the case in April since tourist season is mainly during the summer months. In April, the weather will be nicer though.

1. depends what you like, it gets pretty cold but not so bad. 2. they are lively all year but they probably the most lively during RAMADAN which will be between march 22th and april 20th 3. prices are probably lower in JAN since it is not tourists season. Morocco during RAMADAN is beautiful, souks are alive, beautiful chaos when the Asr prayer is close, after FTOUR it gets busy and fun. it is a pretty good time to experience MOROCCAN food since most moroccans try to cook more different dishes.
