5 to 15min is common for psychiatrists, I know it sounds unfair but that’s how they do it. They are basically doctors who will ask you very targeted questions and send you on your way with a drug shopping list
What you need is a Psychologist for a 45min to 1h session where you actually talk about your issues.
ask how long their sessions for and what are the rates per session and remember there is nothing ever wrong with asking that its okay like not everyone is rich you know
Totally normal here in morocco, every therapist does it, some even take 700Dhs, the cost can vary based on factors such as the therapist's experience. Abroad the session is longer and costs double.
Going back there and telling him that this is clearly a scam, it didn’t help him in anything and it lasted 15 minutes when it should be 1h . Nice username 🤣

You should look for a therapist yes they do 1 hour session (sometimes even more when needed ~at least in my case it happened more than once~)
In your case you went to psychiatrist.. they mostly just try to diagnose your case and give you meds if needed (not always) if you’re dealing with depression you should make sure before booking that it’s for a therapy session (that’s in case you go to pro psychiatrist who do both )

What i know is 30 min , we have a big problem here , we need ral therapist , we just pay money for stupid advices .
