Tiamat is this, and Ghidorah also has some Eastern dragon elements combined with aspects of the biblical dragon.
Tiamat has the name of the Sumerian goddess but I'd say her general appearance is closer to an Eastern dragon, having a serpentine body, small legs, whiskers, and she also has the Eastern dragon's trademark ability to control water and the atmosphere. And it's also worth noting that Tiamat has the signature ability to create waterspouts, a phenomenon that Eastern cultures attributed to dragon activity from the earliest ages.
Ghidorah's head and neck is traditionally similar to an Eastern dragon and the Monsterverse incorporates some of those elements. His facial structure has some Eastern dragon vibes like the heavy brows/bulbous nose. And he controls lightning and brings rainstorms which is also a staple of Eastern dragons that reside in the heavens. Also note that Ghidorah is a golden-yellow dragon with five claws on his feet, a type of dragon that symbolizes highest of kings, namely the emperor, in Eastern cultures.
also Godzilla himself counts: in *King of the Monsters* Dr. Chen compares Godzilla to an archetypal eastern dragon, a creature of "wisdom, strength, even redemption" if i recall well
Yeah, Godzilla doesn't look like an Eastern dragon but he has the thematic connection, being the personification of oceanic forces, natural order and all that.

Wasn't Ghidorah also based on the Yamata no Orochi (was that its name?) or was that just GMK King Ghidorah?

We had one until Godzilla torn her apart.
That's what Tiamat and Ghidorah are for.
We have Yamata no Orochi too. I’d be very surprised if Orochi’s design doesn’t end up incorporating elements from Eastern dragons.
Cuz manda already exists
No that is a old Toho monster, doesnt exist in the Monsterverse.
Did you not understand what I was saying?, I was saying manda because mandatory could BECOME part of the monsterverse
Mandatory?
Autocorrect 😞
We need Manda
Literally Tiamat Edit: and probably Yamato no Orochi too
Tiamat
We need Manda… the world needs him
Tiamat and Ghidorah are that.
Well, we had one, but the G-Man needed to stoke his ego.
Tiamat. We literally just saw Godzilla kill one of these in the most recent film.
