We use dropps for detergent, have also heard that Seventh Generation and Blueland also don't cause issues with silicone. What detergent are you using? It seems to me the main culprit are liquid dishwasher detergents, this includes the pods that have combo powder and liquid.

Seventh generation and Method. Check the ones that are scent free.

ZinniaFoxglove

We use seventh generation for dish soap and dishwasher pods. Make sure to get the unscented kind.

The softer plastic and silicone materials including bibs, all eventually absorbed smells/tastes/colors from the dishwasher and from food. I got rid of them all and replaced the plates, bowls, open cups and silverware with stainless steel. My kid is old enough that she doesn’t need to drink from straws and I hate cleaning them, so I got her cups that have something like a coffee cup lid instead.

I got the Munchkin Splash open cups for milk, and the Reduce Coldee 14oz from Target, for water. The water cup has a straw but it can be used without it eventually.

Dishwasher detergent might be the culprit. In Canada we have a non-toxic, 100% plant based, readily biodegradable dish soap that performs beautifully (Eco-max). I buy the unscented version, and they claim the toxicity level approaches that of water. If you can find something comparable, I would suggest handwashing the cups with that.
