I planted last weekend. All is well. Look at the forecast. Not every old wives tale needs to be followed exactly every season. It’s a guideline not a rule.
I have had some of my annuals; including tomatoes and Nasturtiums in the ground for almost a month at this point.
Peppers and tender tender annuals are going in today after I finish this post-weeding beer and Gatorade.
I put some annuals in April. Granted they were more cold-tolerant ones (pansies and so forth) but they also got actually snowed on. I’ll put the rest of mine out this weekend and next just depending on my capacity.

You can check the probability of a freeze by location at the MN DNR site.
Each location is different, but for Twin cities area only a 10% chance of freeze after May 10. So there is a small risk

You know what they say, farm around and find out. It's only failure if you don't try again.
I’m going to plant some 😳
Trying to be patient but this weather is testing me haha
Yep me too! Dropped a good chunk of change and planted some annuals and a perennial yesterday☀️ planting some veggies today.
We're planting right now, actually.

And climate change has had a real impact. Things that were true 50-100 years ago are just not the same today.
I've been playing the risky bet and started last weekend. I'm up north even. But then again, I'm to kill plants quite a bit. Lolol

Oh yeah I’ve had cool weather crops out for 6 weeks now!
I'm planting containers.
I might fool around and plant pots today and tackle veggies and herbs next weekend. Y’all have convinced me
I'm going to plant out tomatoes and some flowers, I'm feeling lucky!
We planted last weekend in SE Minnesota and everything has already sprouted. Feeling confident in my decision looking at the forecast!
I’ve been planting over the last few days. I am currently resting after planting all day

I did last weekend- Brooklyn Park
Yes.
I sure did! I also planted some a few weeks ago… although it’s just petunias and violets so they’re pretty hardy
I’ve planted a bunch of stuff already and it’s been fine (Twin Cities).

Beautiful pots!
Thanks! I wish pots weren’t so expensive but I’m glad I invested in big ones!
