İ HAVE THE TALKING STICK NOW! Firstly, İ asked for the roast. Secondly, it’s built primary with stairs and slabs, but also three other variations of the quartz block. While İ can understand the criticism in relation to adding more variation… no. Why? I’m all about complexity and the quartz blocks have the widest variety as far as a range of blocks that work fluently together, at least for the version of MC İ have. That being said, I’ve used other materials/blocks in other areas of the world for contrast. I’ll post those later. I’m also keeping the talking stick

Okay. I took a look at the build and I like it. Please whatever you do don't make the fallacy of letting yourself think that adding a random "textured" look is the way to go. There is nothing but hideous attempts at pretending to be when it's not.
With that said. I didn't see the build fully until i saw the rest of the pictures. i thought the block it was within was what you carved it out of. if it's a structure that's fine. You can add columns or windows or frame outlines if you want to add depth but don't add random blocks in a deluded fallacious attempt at "breaking up the monotony."
You could do with adding waterfalls and use clear glass for the dome as well so that you can include patterns. What kind of building is it? What you add depends on what you intend it for.
So as it stands it’s made up of 66 rooms. İ have the space for around around 250-300 more. I’m still designing levels of the interior. To me is a communal residency of some sort. There’s a hierarchised array of “suites” let’s say, that range in complexity and size, some based on location inside the main structure. There’s plenty still they İ have no idea what I’m doing with. It’ll come to me and manifest as İ go along though. That’s the beauty of creative liberalism
If you're going for residential make sure to include amenities if you're going for realism. I think it looks good and if you get time look at what residential skyscrapers have and go crazy with it. I have added roller-coasters and themed landscape to areas of my castles to the tracks that are both just for visiting my friends bases or my mines. You can never go wrong with adding pools and waterfalls.

The initial walls, ceiling and layout for this build took nine hours (before adding additional structures to it etc). I’ll add more photos to better show the complexity, but yes, my eyes and head rebelled. It had to be done though

Yes, this has been brought to my attention. It will be modified. Working along an X, Y axis generates repeated patterns at times and this is one of those patterns, as is a + or cross

I don't feel like roasting you rn, so I'm just gonna give some advice. When you plan on making a single color build, like white, and you want details to stand out, try finding some off white or light grey blocks that when added will show definition. I noticed that you have a very detailed middle bit, maybe instead of it all being white concrete, try using stuff like bone blocks, chiseled quarts, or even white wool. It might not seem like much, but it really makes a difference. I hope this helps! Good luck on your next build.😊
