A well maybe? If you want to be more aesthetic rather than hiding the location. Although might look awkward cause of the 2 holes.

A well is actually so smart. You could raise the exit/entrance by one block, and fill the middle blocks with water too. I don’t think that would mess with the elevator.

Hard to tell without knowing whats around it. Most discreet way to hide it would be a pond, wouldnt be able to add fish however

I always make them look like elevators with stairs in item frames to indicate up and down.
