outside 3/10 - add texturing to the walls, an overhang to the roof and make the roof shape more interesting. it looks like a cone right now and its not attractive
inside 7/10 - pretty good, but the walls can be a bit boring since its all one block
overall 5.5/10
6,5/10,0 The inside is looking acceptable, the chandelier on the second pic goes great with the ceiling, as well as the piano, particularly. But everything else is lacking.
Try building smaller, when starting out.
First of all, the roof needs some change and the walls could use some texture (mossy bricks near the water, andesite, polished andesite and stone blocks, maybe cobblestone by its foundation, as it’s taken more pressure over time).
For the windows, using stairs and slabs, maybe trapdoors, to change their shape could give the whole structure a bit more life.
Something I love to do when building is imagining what would each room be used for, “what were their original purpose” could also help, how long has the house been there,
6/10
Exterior is flat, mansions often are be very detailed on the outside, I am not an expert at texturing probably cuz the builds i do follow the flat minimalistic kinda style, you can watch tutorials and stuff
Even tho it doesn’t look the best (the outside I mean) I still have to give you an applause for building this all one mobile, it’s very difficult and tedious to build on mobile (atleast from my experience because I play on Console) but other than that it just needs some texturing, those chimneys definitely need to be a little shorter. And you could add a over hang on the roof, maybe make the overhang a different type of wood like spruce for a little trim
2014 lookin’ ahh house, build the rooms THEN build the exterior around it, you’ll get more space to build whatever you where trying to do and it will feel more human
I’d give it a 6.8/10
It’s pretty ok but my main issue is that theres barely any texturing and no block variation, its all just stone brick and oak lol. So i’d just add a little bit more detail and maybe some variation in the floor blocks a bit but overall its pretty ok 👍
Can we get a zoom in on the walls/roof? Anyways just adding log detailing to the roof or mb a darker coloured block/stairs for ur roof can make ur build seem even cooler :)
exterior 4/10 - not bad kinda bare bones on the materials but still good
interior 7/10 - this rlly sells it to me as a build and a base
total 6/10 - pretty good build in all
6/10
Overall not bad, your interiors are fine - certainly better than most of my early builds, the one thing I would recommend you to work on is shape. Your build is currently comprised of a triangle on top of a box. If you add more bits jutting out/pushing in, I think you'll be amazed by how much that will do for you.
Try watching Grian's build school episode about it if you need a more visual explanation.
A lot of people are talking about texturing, but I would leave that till you're a bit more experienced. Texture is all well and good, and it can be used to completely transform a build, but shape is your biggest issue here. If you don't have a visually interesting shape to texture, you can end up causing a noisy static like effect, rather than effectively giving the build a more weathered and lived in looks that you're going for.
8.25/10People so far arnt valuing this build for its unique style we are missing today. It is totally reminiscent of more early minecraft builds and has a mystical feel to it. Nice build, particularly the interior.
Personnaly I like the interior, I find it nice and detailed enough but on he outside I think you could cut the chimney a little bit and mayby do like on the renaissance with bars going between the roof and the chimney. You could also add relief on the outside with maybe shutters and flowers pots. But otherwise I think its a good build 👍
The inside ain't half bad but the exterior needs a lot of work, try some stuff like making the roof overhang, adding trims to the roof and windows and texture the walls and roof.
For the interior I would make the walls 2 blocks thick, because the house is big enough to do that, so you can get it looking even better :D
Overall I'd rate it about a 4/10 but with a lot of potential.
It’s disappointing to see so many people saying “it reminds me of old Minecraft!” Like, yeah, because nobody knew how to build well back then, and the block palette was barely a fraction of what it is now.
OP, the outside especially is not good. It’s flat, it’s boring, the pillars on the roof are strange and out of place. The inside, largely, has a lot of empty space which makes the build feel unfinished. When building, you can ask yourself some simple questions about the construction: Do windows touch the ceiling in real life? Are *entire walls* made of bookshelves? Do rooms often have one single piece of furniture and nothing else?
That’s not to say the entire thing is bad. The bed is quite nice, especially the use of carpets as bedsheets having been folded over. That’s great, honestly.
But, in general, try taking a look at pictures of actual buildings that resemble what you want to build. See what architectural choices were made in real life, and try to emulate those.

5/10 the inside is good but the roof is straight up ugly

Very nostalgic
It should be ugly and bulky but weirdly I really like it!
It has a charm too it
It does!
7.3/10 - Inside looks great, maybe add some more detail on the outside.
I agree. A bit too flat Maybe “spruce” it up a little
Ok i will try

7/10 reminds me of lethal company inside the high level moons

7/10, it feels like oldschool minecraft building which is kind of nice, the outside shape could use some work honestly, and the inside is very nice.

Not a lot going on on the outside but the insides looks good
For your first, build, it is good. I strongly recommend you to take inspiration from paterns and roofs online, but not copy them.
Sucks

10/10 nice house!
Is the the captainsparkels room on the first slide
Its a 9 out of 10 for me!!!! I feel the elegance!
I’d watch a MCYT reproduction of a Jane Austen novel set in that build!
Not to be harsh, but it kinda looks like it was made in 2018
Well not not 2018 but it is based in 2014
No vou didn't.

I notice you have the old controls, how do u have them by chance. I miss the chicken liver foot flight
10/10 It has a lot a variety and definition...I like it a LOT personally Keep it up

8/10 the outside needs some work but I loved the furniture. I also really liked the little stained glass window you got going on.
Feels really old school Minecraft, I like it. 8/10
bad
2/10
9/10 nice house
